Also, please, we need a "FUCK YOU GUYS/Geoff screaming for no reason" compilation. I've been wanting to do one since he started the bit but never committed
Okay but for real, share the sauce Rod... How do you get to release so many highly specific supercuts in no time? From editor to editor I'd like to know what tool you use, I'm kinda jealous.
Normally, I don't like peaking behind the curtain too much, but since the comps you made were a big inspiration for me to make my own, I'll go into the nitty gritty. To be honest, I wish I had some magical tool that helps me with these comps but I don't. I spent the majority of 2023 planning to launch this channel as soon as 2024 started. Which involved like 5 months of just writing down every single idea I have for a comp, which currently sits at over 140 ideas for comps, (such a long list on my Notes App lmao) Next I just created a schedule for 2024, which comps I wanted to work on first, which ones to prioritize. After that I made a huge spreadsheet, so that I can easily keep track of which guests appear on which episodes and which bits they do in each episode. Then it was time to just spend 4 months to binge A LOT of episodes, and note time codes for the comps I want to make next. Sometimes, I have to keep track of 5 different comp time codes all in one episode. Then editing wise, I'll set multiple timelines and cut the clips I need from each episode. So for example, the Producer Geoff comps require me to have up to 18 different timelines since I'm pulling clips from 18 different episodes, and then picking and choosing how to sequence the clips for the final version. So really, the only tool I depend on is my good memory of this podcast and of course my drive to upload as close to as a weekly basis as possible.
@@RodneysRice wow, thank you for the compliment first of all! I have to say I'm incredibly impressed for the commitment, I'm definitely not as patient and committed when I make my supercuts! This is some artisan shit, I love it. It gives the videos that homebaked feel. Keep up the good work!
I had no idea Geoff was able to spread his poison through his sockets, ocular or otherwise
its insane how little he needs to inject this stuff into people

yeah definitely, this is currently the #1 most requested comp, and so far it has proven difficult to put together
I never knew this was a reoccurrence. I remember the first one the most.
I love that it's like 50% Amir too
Drop in the good s*** as soon as I get off work well done.🎉
I also can handle a gun
Amir and Casey need to do the show blindfolded for how little they like being looked at
To be fair, i wouldn't want those sad eyes to be staring at me either
I love this unintentional recurring theme.
Great content as usual, ROD
This compilation is much like Rodney’s last name were it to be seared thus. That is to say perfection

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. That homebaked feel is definitely by design and I'm glad it comes out clear to you
This is so funny, great compilation
would love to see a 'best of' people leaving the podcast after geoff says something bad/fine
If Headgum had HR, Geoff would be in at least three different types of jail
That squidward and woodwind bit was chine, it was absolutely chine
Pls make a best of Brad!
I miss rice comps :(
