Great video. I'm retiring very soon, just bought a Nissan X Trail and I'll be towing a pop up camper trailer. Looking forward to do some travelling. Using your videos for motivation, locations. See you on the road one day.
@ thanks Terry, I want to rent one for a week or two first just to make sure I’m comfortable with it, I’m in Geelong and I’ll take it to Tassie, too hot this time of the year for FNQ.
Your living my (day) dream....maybe one day! Glad I came across your channel ....will follow your adventures....oh and I see you visited my home.... Sellicks Beach ( I recognised it straight away 😊) Happy travels!
Had an older HiAce years ago and thought about another, but will probably end up with a Subaru Forester. I'll be road tripping in Oz and cycle touring in Asia for half the year and spend the remainder at home in Melbourne.
Portable toilets should be mandatory. Australia is littered with campsites, parks, and beaches where people shit anywhere and fail to bury it. It's actually out of control...
Lifes too short to waste at work good on you mate

Thanx for showing your van
Great setup 👍
Best of luck Terry, I'm loving your channel - you've got a really relatable presentation style 👍
Thanks so much 😀
The headbutting on the van roof really cracked me up
Happy trails Terry. Lots of adventure ahead for you. Looking forward to watching more local discoveries.
Great video, inspired me to look for a van, can I ask how much you paid for that van? I want to set a budget, thanks
There are so many variables but you should be able to get a road-ready van for between 20k-30k. Have a look on FB van life groups.

Living the dream 😃
Good on you
I just watched this on WiFi in the Elizabeth Centre mall It's even relaxing that way
Our Dentist is down there and we get there quite regularly.
Likely eat more than we should in the food court there.
I’ve looked at a few vans and that one is so well set up. I’m very envious.
Thanks. Keep looking. You’ll find something you’ll fall in love with.
Im in Melbourne, where can I get the Van fitted out like yours
t find perfect van
My van was fitted out by the previous owners. Check van conversions on Google
good on ya mate 👍
Congratulations
Hi mate. How did you find the courage to take the plunge and quit your job to pursue YT full time? That’s pretty brave mate well done
The decision had been brewing for a while so it was time to make a leap of faith
@@LetsGo012 good job mate, we all live vicariously through you!
What was the song at 8:17?
"It's Getting Late" by Ten Towers. I absolutely LOVE this song
It’s good…we thought it might be one of yours…elements of his voice were similar
I'd be nakey in the water when nobody is around
Me too 😀
try a sunbathe after that for few mins, it burn😂
Why does van life encourage you to eat healthy?
🌞When I heard Nessi I thought as in Loch Ness Monster and figured you must have some Scottish ancestry but no
Nessie as in short for VANessa
Just do a shit in the sea!
