    Thanks for the great video. 💜 Love this series and the nakshatras. As you were talking about Magha, I thought of my two grandmothers that both have placements here. One passed last September, and we were very close. She collected elephants. I looked up and noticed Nav's elephant watercolor in the background staring at me. I'm Uttara Phalguni Asc in Leo and much of what you said resonated. I have a fig tree in my dining room and I live by the "if you're gonna talk the talk you better walk the walk" motto thanks again

    I'm Magha and made sense. I'm quite humble. And yes, I think some vedic astrologers focus too much on the predictive part. I think the psychology is equal important. The remedies are there.

    Does it count for d9 navamsa?

    • @irshadazeez4764
      @irshadazeez4764 Месяц назад +1

      No because divisional charts don't have nakshatras. They are not a 'real" chart. They are a projection, an assumption, hypothetical chart if the main chart is divided differently. They are derivatives of the main chart.

      @@irshadazeez4764 Ah I understand now, thank you. I heard navamsa is what a person soul develops and transforms to, is that true? I don't mean that they change into d9 completely as D1 is the main chart but does the character and soul transform and shapes into the d9 over time? From my experience and life when I look at d9 i somehow resonate with it too. It's as if it's a whole chart into one when you look them put together, like a fusion. What you think?

      @@Jrthra The D9 resonates with us because it's a chart about our dharma. This can mean who we desire to be, how our essential nature evolves, or how we behave in response to life. They get the D9 chart by dividing the rashi in our D1 chart into 9 equal parts of 3.20 degrees. Each part is called an amsa. The D9 chart is built off all the amsa placements in D1 and it is called the Navamsa chart meaning "Nine amsas". That's why it's a derivative of the main chart. It's technically not a 'real chart'. It's a forecasted chart, based on the main chart. The D9 is the forecast of how the person evolves during his or her life. Astrologers refer to D9 a lot because doing ones dharma is an important concept in vedic life. But you will always hear them say that the D9 must be used as a secondary reference point to judge the effect of the planets in the main chart. The concept of introducing nakshatras to D9 charts and such is a relatively modern concept. There's no precedent for this technique in older texts.

      @@irshadazeez4764I think this is because the older texts didn't have the technology we have now. Now we have things like stellarium and very accurate astronomical calculations. This is why measurements like Raman and Lahiri which are also modern systems link to each nakshatras stars astronomically, and also have proven to be very accurate. I think modern concept are something that will bring this ancient practice much further. This is my opinion, and from a logical point of view it makes sense. The ancients had nowhere near the technology we have now, with this technology we can become very accurate. Plus dividing zodiacs by themselves would prove to be inaccurate (not completely) but because all zodiacs (based on concept of nakshatras) are a mix of every zodiac sign, that's why begging of a zodiac is different than middle and end. And also if you would use that system and 30 degrees then again the real constellation vary in sizes so when you say your in Libra in a chart for sidereal in vedic due to that equal division in reality your not really in Libra at the begining for example of Chitra Libra, but your in virgo (astronomically) which is what astrology was born from, the observation of celestial bodies not of charts. This means such calculations in navamsa for certain zodiac signs wouldn't be true astronomically. But basing the concept of nakshatras being actual energies that Intertwine with zodiac signs than the 30 degree division would make sense. I think due to the technology we now posses it is accurate to determine the nakshatra also (and is important due to the concept I have stated above). This is my opinion honestly
