- The Zoo Pals paper plates were a nostalgic lunchtime staple of the 2000s, complete with iconic commercials and a theme song. Now that some time has passed since they were discontinued, Hefty just brought back Zoo Pals for the generation of adults who grew up with it, along with the new generation of kids today. Will the return of Zoo Pals be successful?

There was a time in my childhood, when I would only eat of these plates, and the song in the commercial was my #1 jam. It still takes up permanent residence in my head. I'm glad that they're returning for a new generation to experience such fine dining.

I remember seeing these on Nickelodeon all the time as a teen in the mid-2000's. Nice bit of nostalgia, bringing them back!

I'm so happy to see zoo pals making a return. I used to get amazed by their designs and their song as a kid. So seeing them return is like meeting with a old friend that you haven't seen/talked to for a long time.

"Enter the world of the Zoo Pals Zoo where your favorite Zoo Pals characters come to life, get into wacky antics, and defend the kids from the notorious Famished Fred and his Hangry Henchmen! In Zoo Pals Zoo, anything can happen, and Zoo Pals make anything fun, especially eating!"

I loved Zoo-Pals! More than one of our friends had them for a party, I think I finally used them for a party I had at one point. Anyways, I missed these guys, I'm so glad they're coming back!

ZooPals as well as Zoo *Books* and Disney CDs were a staple of Saturday morning cartoon commercials and on cable in the 2000s
It's amazing that even an advertisement can become nostalgic.
I remember always seeing the commercials I think mostly on Nick, but I was never able to get a pack for myself, so I am intrigued to see these return, and if I see them the next time I’m at the store, I’ll get myself one just for the fun of it

For kids, they're going to exploding with joy over the return of Zoo Pals. I'm upset that not every one of them are returning, but maybe Hefty might change their mind. They might even make some new ones too! Eitherway, the Zoo Pals revival is gonna make eating fun again, and I respect that very much.
I think Hefty might make more Zoo Pals designs soon. This is probably only series 1.

Every time I used to watch Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network they always be a zoopals commercial. I could basically hear the jingle in my head.

I don't think I've ever eaten on Zoo Pals plates before, but I do remember seeing them. It's awesome that they're coming back. Maybe I can convince my mom to get these for her daycare, just so I can use them.
Also, I could be wrong, but I could have sworn that Zoo pals had plates that featured licensed characters. Maybe they'll bring those back.

OMG!! Thank you so much for talking about this. I am one of the proud people who can say that some of their fondest memories involve the Zoo Pals in some way or another. I'm definitely picking up a pack to keep for nostalgia reasons and a pack to use and share the joy with. Right as soon as I saw the thumbnail on your video, I was taken back to when I was a little kid and I refused to eat anything unless it was on a Zoo Pals plate.

Always seen the commercial but never got it as a kid, but hearing this as an adult brings a smile to my face because now I can simply just buy it. Perks of being an adult🤷🏾♂️

2023 is a mixed year
A.I. is taking over animation and scripts, artists are struggling, workers aren’t getting paid fairly, animation isn’t doing well and canceled projects, everything is getting a movie and animation studio.
But hey, it’s nice to see a new generation get to witness the fun of Zoo Pals plates, I never had one myself, but those kids/babies will be eating good tonight with them
Even kids growin up as early or late 00’s after 2020’s and they are now change some adults stuff, i think is nice the good old 00’s stuff gets kinda return for a while.
and HTF (Happy Tree Friends) is returning.

I never got to eat off a Zoo Pals plate before nor do I remember any of the commercials for them (they were sadly discontinued in 2007 when I was only an infant/young toddler) but I plan on picking a pack of these up soon. My 2000s soul needs them.

I am a Millennial from 1996, and growing up I was hearing all about the Millennial generation and people in my age group, so it's kind of shocking that Gen Z is so close to me, I got a lot of confusion because I thought Millinials went all the way to at least 2002 or something, and now I'm hearing about Gen Alpha and Gen Beta and who knows what else, and I'm still not even used to Gen Z being grown ups, when apparently they are only one year younger than me.
Duck was my favorite one, so I am excited to see that coming back.
