  • My Dualtron Raptor has been nothing short of amazing, tiny footprint with enough power to get me from point A to point B. In fact, I am really surprise with the range of something so compact!
Let me know if anyone is interested in a SIDE by SIDE comparison with my Dualtron Ultra :)
Also, giveaways in December have concluded! If you haven't already claimed your prize, you will have until the end of Jan 2018 to do so...failing which, I will just re-list on Gleam for another GIVEAWAY!

Hi Jamie! First of thanks so much for all the e-scooter videos. They are very helpful. I am a newbie (never ridden an e scooter before) and would like to get my very first one. I have did my research and have decided to get a Dualtron. I'm 80kg and 180 cm in height (if that matters at all in riding one). Though i've never ridden an e scooter before but i do alot of sports. Ok sorry i guess i better go straight to the questions.
    IDEALLY i should be
    1) Getting something lighter.. like around 25kg. Anything less than 30kg should still be ok. I don't plan to carry it much at all. Just need to put it in the back of my Honda CRV from time to time because i drive to KL often.
    2) Something not too fast but good enough to go up the hills with ease. Something easier for me to handle as a first timer. i have never tried on any e scooter before but im an outdoor and quite a sporty person. So i don't see a problem unless it's "REALLY" hard to ride on one? Does a faster/more expensive e scooter mean harder to handle, or more expensive means better technology thus easier to handle?
    BUT..........
I'm a huge sucker for the latest/newest technology and design. I saw the Thunder and i was in love because it is the latest and fastest.. and hopefully with all the latest technology, it is also more stable and safe.. in a way? Hope to hear some opinions from you and other fellow riders out there. It would help a lot. Thanks very much in advance!
PS: Do you guys suggest i go for Dualtron Raptor, or Dualtron 1.5 MX or even other brands as a start, or is it not a real problem to go with the Ultra and Thunder?

Hello, I get a Dualtron Limited in Spain these days, I see your videos since I created the brand. I would like you to make the comparison with the Ultra. regards

Awesome, I was actually contemplating about converting my Raptor into a 10 incher. But like you said, I’m waiting for the newer models and will most likely get a Limited and keep the Raptor for portability.

Hi is this raptor v1 or v2? Can the tyres be changed to 10” or the full motor wheel need to be changed?

I've been told that you can't use pneumatic tyres with the Raptor, but I saw your video and noticed the fact that you have done just that. I'm actually thinking about getting the Raptor myself, and being able to do this would be awesome.
How can I do it - do I need to change the motor as well (and I suppose that would be complicated enough)? Or are there pneumatic tyres that fit the stock motor? Is there an online guide for this?
I'd be really thankful for some input on this matter. :)

Hi Michael, you just need to find a 1 for 1 swap from one Dualtron rear arms to the Raptor. The controller on the raptor will be able to support the motor...

You don’t have to change controller but yes, you need the arms.

Jamie Lim What are the ratings for the rear hub? 52v or 60v? 800W or higher? Did you have to replace the stock controller for the mod? How’s your riding experience, now that the rear is slightly elevated.

I will definitely recommend the Dualtron 2 Limited instead...the range will be compromised on the raptor for anyone 100kg and above...
