Yeah, hemp all the way! I’m really excited for hemp walls to catch on here in the states.

Great video, Cait! Thanks for taking the time to create it. Would you be open to the idea of a follow up video about hemp-blocks as a construction material? (the kind that has the structural / load bearing supports built into the hemp block….From other YT vids I’ve seen it appears as if that could be a more applicable and realistic building product vs other application methods. Would love to know your ideas on that. Thanks!

Hey there! There are many ways to work with hemp as a building material, it all depends on one's budget, availability of the material and personal preference. I plan to make more content, hemp block information could potentially be part of it. Thanks for the support!

It probably needs to be stressed that if you're painting a lime-plastered, hempcrete wall, you should be using a vapor-open mineral/silicate paint like KEIM.

I'm planning on installing a permanent brass plate in the wall of my hemp-house-to-be that says exactly that.

How does hempcrete result in 30 to 60 % reduction in mechanical costs? I haven't seen any data supporting this. What makes hempcrete so much more expensive over traditional building methods?
