Your videos remind me of life in Kazakhstan. I worked there 2 years as an English teacher. As we know Kazakhstan was under Russian rule for many years so it's daily life and culture shows many similarities to that of Russia. I'm sure Russia is just as beautiful!😊 I am happy to watch your family's reaction over Filipino food. Please try making TORTANG TALONG or eggplant omelett for them next time. It's simple to make and delicious especially if you dip it with ketchup! Also, your dogs are lovely. Please make more videos about your animals!😊 Take care!

YOU MAKE GEL/GULAMAN MIXTURE EITHER COLORED RED OR GREEN FOR COLOR COMBO AND TASTE. JUST DISSOLVE THE 1 SMALL PACK GULAMAN POWDER WITH 3 CUPS WATER AND CONSTANT STIR ON FIRE. ONCE DISSOLVED AND MIXED, YOU REMOVE IT FROM FIRE AND LET IT COOL. THEN YOU CUT THEM IN SMALL CUBES SIZES. THERE YOU HAVE IT, GULAMAN/GEL MIXTURE.

You can also add some condensed milk or milk and stir well before setting aside, if you like your jello to be creamy. In the US we have heavy cream as an option, too, and I think they have it in Russia.

I know you tried chicken arroz caldo in the Philippines sir, hope you can cook it there too, just simply sautee the garlic, ginger, onion then put the chicken add some fish saice to taste, let it cook for a while until you smell the aroma of the cooking, remove the cooked chicken for a while to avoid over cooking, then in the same cooking pot or pan put the rice and saute it for a while, then putchicken broth some fish sauce to taste crushed black pepper and the cooked chicken, let it boil until thecruce is thorpughly cooked, porridge o arroz caldo is good during winter and monggo.

Yes sir everybody love the taste of adobo, to some they added some ingredients to make it more tastier. The imple adobo which we usually cook, usually, we only put, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaf, black pepper, lots of gatlic, a little sugar instead msg, marinate overnight or in a few hours, some cut the pork into bite pieces and some cut a little bigger butbl like the bite size.
Yes, halo halo during summer is good miryenda, if you put a lot of milk its good, our home made halo halo consist of boiled banana cut into bite size, beans, gulaman or gelatin, sago, young grated coconut, with a toppings of ube ice cream and leche flan, then grated ice, some like it so sweet do they put a lot of sugar, se put evaporated milk it is much tastier than the regular milk.

That is the most creative improvisation I've ever seen to make Halo-halo. ❤ If I didnt have the ingredients so readily available here in California, I would try the same. I wish you were able to find Ube ice cream because adding that would help in making the liquid part resemble the taste of the real thing. Making halo-halo really brings the feeling of being in Philippines. 😊
If you would like to try something that has ingredients you can get 80% of the exact items, I would suggest making the Filipino fruit salad below:
    1) Drain 5 cans of fruit cocktail in heavy syrup
    2) Chop fresh 1-2 apples into cubes
    3) Blend together 1 package cream cheese and 1 condensed milk until smooth
    4) Mix all fruits with the cream cheese/condensed milk sauce.
    5) Chill in the fridge overnight and enjoy the next day. If there's too much leftover, you can put in the freezer and eat like an ice cream later.
    6) It tastes better with coconut strings, sugar palm fruit, and chunks of nata de coco, but with at least the fruits you have as basic ingredients, it can still taste close enough to the original. 😊 Some people like to add sweet canned corn and chunks of yellow cheese, but I don't like those in my fruit salad and so I leave those out. Good luck! ♥️ CA

Very good. Making halo halo as russian version. You may use any fruits available in your area ,like strawberry, raspberry, cherries, peaches, sweet apple, ,any sweet fruits that cannot contrast on milk... Or good add yogurt as your preference. For a touch of filipino halo halo twist, put leche flan on top of it. 😊 Yummy.🙏♥️🇵🇭 God bless your family circle.

Your mum can cook red kidney beans with a little sugar then put in a container if it’s not used for one eating. Easy to make jelly too just buy something that is easy just adding hot water and a little cold one. What makes Halo halo special in the Philippines is the Leche flan. Other ingredients are not necessarily being followed it’s up to you. I have not tried cornflakes but it adds crunchiness so it’s good. For me the main ingredients are banana the one that is cooked with little sugar, beans red or white, jelly sliced into cubes, ice cream, leche flan and cornflakes that’s sold out to me already and lots of ice. It is best during summer. In the Philippines they don’t put lots of ingredients unless it is special and you pay more. Sometimes just banana and Sago with evaporated milk and sugar enough to fill ones craving in any hot season. Love your ideas of using what are available in the house. Hope you can take your mum in the Philippines so she will have a first hand taste of every food you want her to cook. She is a good cook tasting how it is authentically will give her an idea how to do it her way based on ingredients available in your country. Cheers ❤
