I love this song! I am a Believer but I’ve never heard it before, except when Gabriel sang it in Portuguese, which I loved. I knew it was called Goodness of God but didn’t have the translation, so when I saw that he’d just performed this English version, I was over the moon! It’s as wonderful as I expected it would be. Gabriel IS anointed! I am convinced that God has anointed him for this appointed hour and that this anointing is over EVERY song he sings, not just the Christian songs though they have a special spark to them, that cannot be denied. I believe that people are emerging from the shadows to publicly acknowledge their faith because of what God is doing through Gabriel. It’s an exciting time. The very first time I heard Gabriel, I was NOT looking for him. He just appeared on my RUclips site with the song, “O Happy day”. Talk about prescient! This is one of my all-time favorite songs from back when Edwin Hawkins sang it! Only God knew that! So I had to listen. I was completely bowled over by Gabriel’s voice, his perfect tuning, his awesome rifts…everything about him. I am a professional singer/songwriter and arranger, so I can be terribly critical (Don’t worry: I love your voice!😊). I am also an Obsessive/Compulsive person, so I started immediately searching for more, and slid right down into that rabbit hole, head first. I’ve not listened to ANYTHING else since that day in May. I tell you this, Brad, because of how God has been using Gabriel in my life. I apologize for the length, but I don’t see people very often so when I have something to say, I tend to become long-winded! My life has be filled with trauma and heart-ache. Even though I accepted Christ eons ago, I’m never satisfied with my everyday life, because I carry my trauma and PTSD with me every step of the way. People say that we should go to the Lord with all our thoughts, worries and fears…everything really. Well, believe me I do. I have blamed God for every horrible thing I’ve gone through. Because He’s omniscient. He’s omnipresent and He’s omnipotent. Only He can change things. He promised us that we would never be put to shame. But I’ve been sexually molested as a 9 yr old, sexually abused as a 16 yr old, for three years, and I was physically and emotionally amused by my Christian dad throughout both my childhood and on into adulthood. Consequently, I’ve been lacking in confidence and filled with confusion all my life. How could God love me and allow all that to happen to me? I believe we work out our salvation, so I set to follow God first and my career second…consequently, I have never fulfilled the dreams I had, as I kept trying to put God first…and I don’t even know what that means anymore. Three years ago while I was in the best vocal shape of my life, I came down with an AutoImmune Liver disease that developed into Stage IV Cirrhosis…and I’ve never imbibed any alcohol in my life! I am now house and bed-bound. I lost my license as well as my singing voice. So I can’t sing anymore. I have no friends, and I have to rely on others to go anywhere. It has been devastating. Most of the time I don’t want to live because there doesn’t seem to be any point to me taking up space. Then Gabriel has come along…I still fight with God. But I also cry over and over while Gabriel sings his songs in Portuguese, when I don’t even know what they mean. I believe God is healing me through Gabriel’s anointed voice. I want to be like Gabriel. More like him. I want to cherish God, not hate Him. I want to joyously sing His praises just like Gabriel does. I want to stop distrusting my Lord and I beg out loud that God would help my unbelief. Gabriel, through God’s grace is healing me, slowly but surely. I ask for your prayers.

GH does not need an auditorium to be happy. GH does not need to be in AGT to be recognized. GH is gods sent. He is humble. He knows what he wants. He worships God! He does not needs Simon to say what he thinks about him because he has confidence in the Lord. Lord is his inspiration. He does not need to be in a show business which is so corrupted because GH is pure love. I rest my case.
