The best defense against communist authoritarian dictatorship is to strengthen democracies from corrupting influences and nepotism. It takes an active and concerted effort of the people, to ensure that our democratically elected politicians are truly representing our interests.
We must also address what hostile communist countries are doing, both domestically and abroad. Democratic Nations must stand together against their lawlessness in defense of global security, human rights, and enforce International Law.

Out of the 2 million men china "supposedly" has I'm pretty sure that only 3 maybe 4 regiments are actually combat trained. Most of the "military life" that their soldiers go through revolves around marching and singing communist party songs. Corruption? Definitely. Design? Absolutely. Think about it. You run what is basically an ethnocentric fascist dictatorship that spends the majority of its time oppressing your people. The absolute LAST thing you want to do is train and equip soldiers to take on other governments. After all, if they can tople a government, what's to stop them from topling you? That's a baseline communist thought. Stalin killed of all the red guard. And Mao killed all of the red scarves. The very people that got them into power.

It's good for a laugh or two, but consider this dire fact, in spite of such nepotism, Chinas rise has been unmatched in history. Now, imagine what will happen if nepotism is eliminated? They will be even more formidable.
I've tried for years to warn Americans of Canadas system of abuses and nepotism, with varying degrees of success. Too often it falls on deaf ears even as by extension/association it harms America. It all depends on how high up and what level of importance such nepotism impacts a nations security, economy or reputation
Of course there are many issues with China which I have gleaned from watching others videos but it doesn't take away from their rise, much of it due to the Wests political decisions. We laugh without looking internally at our own deficiencies at our own great peril I assure you. It's been my thesis for years and the same nations we brushed off just a decade ago are more influential today, as I predicted.

In Soviet Union there was a logic to this. If you have moron boss - you can manage him and pass anything through him, paying lip service. The ppls were called "aparatchik".
With this scheme you can make few schemes: 1. Funnel the funds allocated to your dpt. For yourself and buddies keeping boss in the dark and casting blame if things goes south. (Shifting blame is kinda difficult though). Or if u rly need efficiency- you just parade your boss around, trying to keep him away as possible from important decisions or leading them onto those decisions. Inefficient? - way better than with a "smarter boss" :)

That is one thing the US military excels at-- They allow poor but smart officers to rise through the ranks. Merit wins out. Ancestry is not a big advantage. Many US generals came from quite poor backgrounds but moved up based on their abilities. Perhaps a top example is Chuck Yeager, who was born into a dirt-poor family out beyond where Jesus lost his overshoes, but he earned his way up by pure intelligence and merit. Also Dwight D. Eisenhower, from a poor Texas family, while an average student at the Military Academy, finally graduated top of his class and achieved top rank in WW2. Not a nose-picker.
