Er, no shit you'd still have to own those things 😂 but a humanoid robot could just carry most of those around at once (depending how strong it is) or separately. So you'd only need one humanoid to carry different things around for you, where you'd need multiple switchbots to carry these things if you want more than one appliance or table.

I don't think the intent is just to give it to people when they're old, I think it's specifically for people who have mentally checked out most of the way already. If it makes that group of people feel better I think it's worth it because goodness knows society neglects them and shoves them under the rug.
I heard nothing good about Loona support. There is not even a single experience shared on internet where someone needed help post purchase and they received it. A good product is nothing without the customer support.

TomBot is a genuinely good idea. Would also be a good option for young children as a first pet or those who's housing doesn't allow pets.
