- The majestic Dreamliner!
American Airlines Boeing 787-8 from Philadelphia to Miami. Watch from the very first row of the aircraft as we push back, taxi, and takeoff from PHL bound for MIA. The captain announced that we were transferring donor organs so we were granted first in line to Runway 27L. AA Business Class fully lie flat service that morning was impeccable. The 787 is truly the most sophisticated airliner in the skies!

Hey, I just smashed the 747 count on the like button. I'm such a dork.
Thank you;; very good video of takeoff;;: Karachi Pakistan
i love this 787 engine & it's engineering #❤️❤️👍
Amazing engine roar!
Great video! A powerful long-range airplane on a short flight. The reduced takeoff thrust is so low, (it can still clear all obstacle and gradient requirements following an engine failure at V1) that the takeoff setting is lower than climb power (selected at 12:34). Climb power is selected at 1,000' AGL and it's normally accompanied by a reduction in thrust, not an increase. At first it seems counterintuitive, but takeoff is the most critical phase of flight and the lower the power setting needed the lower the chance of a malfunction resulting from high pressures, rotation speeds and temperatures.
I like the Boeing 777-300ER. My favourite plane for ultra long-haul flights between continents. 😃😊🌴🛫
nice, but the plane there isnt a 777
@@soggypancake001 I know. I never said that the plane in the video is a 777.

Cramped in economy.
Me too I like the Boeing 777-300ER too!!!
Power & efficiency
2:54 - Engine 2 Start
4:55 - Engine 1 Start (I think)
11:20 - Take Off
*Both engines start at the same time at 2:54
@@ag6371 ohh, I've normally seen both engines start one after another. I wonder what I heard at 4:55 then
@@derplovestravel1777 Not just the 787, even older 777s with Trents start both at the same time
@@derplovestravel17774:55 It's the packs activating as they are deactivated before engine start
Many thanks for this knowledge!
Beautiful plane, thank you for sharing this with us …
Great video
Who doesn’t want to leave Philadelphia
Where did the plane take off from, Miami? Great video. The plane so slow during taxi, but gradually sped up. such a complicated path to take off. It would be Hell to do a night take off
Someone forgot to put their phone on airplane mode during Engine 2 startup 😂
What did you use to make the video and how did you setup the device? Its so stable
most likely a suction cup bro
Awesome 👏. Beautiful bird.
GE or RR engines?
👍👍💪💪💪
Shhhhhhhhh, quiet...
👍👍👍👍👍
Quiet engine
Sounds like a GE engine!
So out of a 14 min. video 11 mins. of it was wheeling around preparing for takeoff.. A waste hence the thumbs down..
Go to 11:30 Rest of Video is USELESS
😁😁😁😁😁😁
Niña
?
translates to "little girl".
Not sure about now, but it used to be you'd hear "Lifeguard" added to an airline call sign when they were carrying organs, patients etc.
I wish Delta would get their head out of their ass an order some Dreamliners and 777’s! Quit buying the AirJunk!
It's always Sunny there.
climb rate looks a lil slow
👍👍💪💪💪
