This is powerful. Prophecy becomes very clear and interesting when we stick to the text of the Scripture as Dr Rodriguez has done.

The 11th chapter of Daniel is quite complex because we have difficulty READING it, understand the flow of the text. This remind me of Daniel 6 where the wise of Babylon were unable to READ the text. If we can't READ the text, we won't be able to INTERPRET it for sure. Some of us believe there are 2 powers in Daniel 11:40-45 while others believe there are 3 powers. We have some believing the U. SMITH's position and others believing the L. WERE's position. Many of us have injected ISLAM as the king of the north, if not RUSSIA ... We need to dig further in earlier texts and prophecies, to learn more and more out of what is fully disclosed and already enlighten and move gradually to the grey areas of the prophetic text. Clearly, Rodriguez's interpretation is very good as he use the Exodus and Revelation in his understanding of the text. We need to let the Bible interpret itself instead of trying to read prophecy in current news. My understanding so far is that the phrase ""according to his will" refer to the rise of new powers, Daniel 11 should be read in its context namely chapter 10 and 12 esp. verses 40-45 should not be read in isolation from the verses 1-39, the use of recapitulation which we found in the earlier prophecies apply here and there are serious links between Daniel 8-9 and Daniel 11 so we should expect the little horn power of Daniel 8, the abomination of Daniel 9 in Daniel 11, the 1260 prophecy in Daniel 12 reinforces the idea that the little horn of Daniel 7 is described in Daniel 11 which is also the sea-beast of Revelation 13, the persecutionn and deliverance of God's people are in focus.

Daniel 11 cannot be understood if our focus on the chapter is only on the last five verses . If all the verses are taken into into consideration and there is a proper understanding of church history you'll see that : the league of verse 23 is identical to the trinity that was formalized in 180 AD : that this denied that Christ was the only begotten Son of God and was merely a subordinate or derived being : that the controversy in relation to the trinity was the greatest mischief or wickedness concerning the deity of Christ. You'll understand that the sitting at one table was the council of Nicaea that was convened specifically to settle the infamous trinitarian controversy : that the lies refer to the two views of the trinity that failed to prosper or were exposed by the Nicaen creed . You'll further see that the exploits of the trinity league related to the its hatred or indignation against the holy covenant of the Nicaen creed " ; see that the daily (yowm) that the trinity league or the papacy took away was the regular (tamyid) or the weekly sabbath. Moreover you'll understand that the 'time of the end" also includes the deadly wound to the the heresy of the trinity and Sunday worship administered by the advent movement in 1843 1290 days after the papacy obtained the supremacy over Christendom in 538 Ad.. Then you'll see that verse 39 refers to the territorial "healing of the deadly wound " when Mussolini divided the land of Italy for gain and gave the papacy the city of Rome ; that verse 40 applies to the political supremacy of the papacy in union with the pagan Protestantism of North America and together overthrew the atheistic communism of Russia . You''ll be convinced that verse 41 applies to the theological healing of the deadly wound when the papacy invaded the Glorious land of the Seventh day Adventist denomination and exalted its God , the doctrine of the trinity, the Omega of deadly heresies . You'll see that it will not be successful in doing this in every church but will be able to exert its influence over the Moslems and all other religions including atheistic Egypt of China and other like
nations. Finally applying this indisputable historical template of the trinity will lead to the outpouring of the latter rain from the tidings of the holy covenant , the beginning of the judgment of the living, the slaying of the great multitude and the sealing of the 144000 and the demise of the trinitarians protestantinism.

Hmm. Interesting that, Pastor Randy Skeete says that when studying doctrine, always go to where it is 1st mentioned. So, in studying Dan.11, where Egypt is mentioned, we should maybe go to Exodus or Genesis.

The question I have is Exodus 5:11-12 he mentioned, which is when they did not receive straws to build bricks. Did he mean a different verse or chapter in Exodus instead to parallel Daniel 11:40-45?

Mimicking God... the devil is doing just that, and Sis. White writes about that. The paper by Edward Edstrom, " THE HUMAN AND DIVINE SPIRIT," puts that together nicely. Blessings.

Is the healing of the beast the same as the union of church and state?

The healing comes when the religious institution is given military power
