is the motor stock? mine is stock and I am ever so slightly shy of 60 when I hit the fuel cutoff at around 7000 rpm.i know that it normally takes 2 shifts to 60 which was a known drawback with this car's gearing but with aftermarket software, the rev limit is raised.your car seems to be able to make it to 60 in second gear more easily.so was just curious.
Hi, at the time of this video. I'd had an AmD stage 2 remap with VW software update and a Milltek catback system. The remap gave me (iirc) just over 273PS and 270Nm Tq. The VW software upgrade moved the limiter from 6,750rpm to 7,400rpm in 1st and 2nd gear and 7,250rpm in all others. With some timing gear I was able to hit 60mph in 2nd gear and my best time was 5.3 seconds and a running average of less than 6 seconds. I hope this helps
