I visited Thorpe Park on a school trip when it first opened. No rides, no excitement, no nothing. We were expected to wander around looking for answers to a list of questions we had been given by our teacher. A friendly member of staff gave me all the answers when I pretended to be German and pretended not to be able to understand the questions lol. Ended up being a great day as I found a quiet spot to read my book.
