    I loved the whole Complete Handbooks series, but i played mostly AD&D from 1982-2009!

      I felt they were extremely variable. The Elves book added a whole load of extra abilities to the Elves, kind of making them superpowered, and some of their kits were unbalanced (The Elven Knight was basically a Paladin that levels as a Fighter). But some, like the Fighters and the Rangers books enhanced those classes so much but by making them more interesting, not more powerful. And then the Humanoids book was a fantastic extension to the game.

      Going to take me a bit to get the format down, as I've done a couple already and mainly just review the book rather than make suggestions as much. But I'll learn and improve (or at least I hope I will).
