I've had my Multi8 for like 10 years and it's still going strong - it'll last you ages!! I use it in my planner instead of highlighters or markers. Lovely video as always! ✨

Oh excellent! I’m very happy to hear this. Wonderful idea to use it instead of highlighters, I will try that. Thank you! And thank you for watching ☺️

I have got all 3 Pentel 8, the 2 grey ones Multi 8 802 (like yours), the Super Multi 8 (803l with 3 ball point refills and the much cheaper clear case Arts 8.
My preferred one is the Arts 8, because you can quickly see the colors - and I always like clear casings.
The construction is the same. If you want to add a ballpoint, you just need to buy the refill. It comes with a magnetic top, you insert it in the slot of your choice just like the other colours. No other tech needed, no need to purchase the 803.
The ballpoints are relatively thin and for my taste a little scratchy.
In Germany the Arts 8 is much cheaper. Therefore a great pen to start with. All the other fancy colours and "features" like the non- copy or the ballpoints can be bought individually as refills.
The Arts 8 come in various colour accents (orange, black, yellow, blue) but they are the same as far as I know.

That is amazing! Thank you, I didn’t know there were others and will look them up. Will keep an eye out for the Art version when I’m next in Germany 🇩🇪 ☺️

@@skellyjayneI only bought them online. Never saw them in stores. German online resellers often sell the Multi 8 25€ upwards, often for more than 30.
The Arts 8 can be found for less than 15€.

Just came across your channel and I have subscribed. I have had the Midori Index Clips on my wishlist for a while. Now after watching your video I have also just added the Londo Leather Pen Case. Great favourites.

@@pens_n_pals thank you! hello and welcome! Yes the Londo pen case was an instant favourite and it’s holding up very well after nearly two years of use. ☺️

That Multi8 is so bloody cool. Love its design too. It has a very "1980s technical drawing" thing going for it. Love the Index Clips too! I use the silver ones myself... probably too many...

I use the midori index clips in several of my notebooks….I am using at least 3 packs at the time lol. Two gold and one silver at the moment.

They are very good. I know a complaint of them is that they can damage your page but I have never had that experience. Do you use the different colours to indicate different things?

@@skellyjayne no I do not. I have a black tn in A6 and I am using a steel kaweco sport, so I use the silver midori index clips to match. I have the tabs memorized, so I know what the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th tab all represent. But an index on the front page that has something like the example below might help:
      Tab 1= monthly calendar
      Tab 2= weekly
      Tab 3= daily
      Tab 4= notes
I am also using another A6 paired with my brass kaweco. So in that journal I use my brass midori index clips.
I am going to be starting school soon and just set up a black b6 tn. I have purchased a notebook pouch with a strap from amazon to hold my pens and other supplies. In that one I am using the gold/brass midori clips as well. I dont know how to link things but I tried to below just incase you are curious. 😊

@@anicame2 Oh I have the steel sport too, it doesn't get as much love as the Brass sport though. I've had a couple of issues of the cap getting stuck on the back of the pen when its posted.
I really like the idea of an index at the front for your tabs. I may try something similar.
The link worked! thank you, i like how many pockets there are on the pen sleeve and a great price!

@@skellyjayne oh shoot. No problems with my steel yet. Yes. The pen pouch goes over my entire b6 tn and I just slip it on and off. Plus it doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s very sturdy. Plus it comes with two!

I used that multi lead pen. The non photo copy lead can actually been seen with modern copiers….so beware…its not invisible ink
