Mount Polley 10 years later - Williams Lake First Nations Elders

In June 2024, Mount Polley Mine hosted a group of Elders from the Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) for a site visit, touring the landscapes that were previously impacted by the 2014 tailings pond breech. 10 years later, and after a tremendous remediation effort done in collaboration with WLFN and a host of environmental experts, this tour showcased the recovered state of the land today.
