I feel that Gus is way more powerful then people see. Sure, he can't physically attack you, but he is able to break your mind. Put you in a place you hate, or a memory you don't want to remember. Being there can cause people to freak out, run away (Bria), have a heart attack, or simply just scare the shit out of you. Or he could even bluff. Hold up a gun when it's not there. Basically, if Gus wanted to, he could put you in a room. That you will never be able to get out of. Darkness. No power, no magic. He can make you go insane. Even to the most powerful witches, think about it. The Illusion Coven Head Leader wasn't able to see through his illusion. He got through one, then was sent to another. I'm just saying... you upset Gus.. and you'll pay hell. Whether you like it or not.
My opinion on who's more dangerous : Hunter - 14% *Hunter is harmless without his palisman, but he can still fight* Gus - 25% *Gus can cast illusions of himself and he can attack the person* Odalia - 47% *Odalia can control the abominations and she can summon the thing in her necklace* Willow - 69% *Willow can just summon plants to help her without doing anything like the first time luz met her* Luz - 590% *Humans can be very violent and out of control even if you are restraining them and she can just make a glyph on the dirt with her leg*
I think I’d consider Hunter more dangerous then Gus. In terms of raw magical power Gus definitely surpasses him along with the vast majority of other characters but that doesn’t necessarily make him more dangerous. From what we’ve seen his only real offensive option is making people live out their worst most traumatic memories. And that is a very powerful ability that can instantly incapacitate enemies. It worked on Adrain and a few coven scouts afterall. But it also seems unreliable. Both Hunter and Belos briefly experienced this spell and though they were briefly stunned they both managed to push through it so it can’t always be relied upon to take an enemy down. On top of that issue every time it’s done seems to take a strain on Gus himself as well and probably shows him the memories he’s forcing his opponent to relive Illusions hold incredible utility both in and out of combat but the fact remains that Gus doesn’t really hold many offensive options on his own which seriously lowers his threat level. There we have to consider his personality. Gus is possibly the least aggressive person in his friend group and the least likely to attempt to severely injure someone which also lowers his threat level. Hunter on the other hand though obviously lacking raw magical power even with Flapjack holds significantly more combat experience and training. He might not be able to send massive spells at his opponents but he’s still an effective speed based hand to hand combatant. And out of the friend group he is also probably one of the ones most likely to go for the throat seriously amping up his danger level.

Willow has a natural affinity with plants and a string connection to them making her power quite advanced and raw. We’ve seen her use creative ways to trap and get people out of situations. While she’s incredibly smart she still relies on her powers a lot and can be quite hurt by insults making it difficult to fight againest mind games. Even without magic she is powerful but she’s also qui weak if pushed in the wrong way. Gus is incredibly powerful on his own. He seems to practice illusions all the time and is very skilled at it but also born with innate power as well. He activates his illusions with stress and can create entire worlds with just his mind. He’s very smart and if trapped in his illusions it’s very confusing and mind boggling. We can see that unless you have an incredibly strong will or can push through your trauma that getting stuck in his illusions can bring you a lot of damage. Even getting stuck inside your own doubt so much that you are completely incapacitated. He’s clever and strong with the ability of trickery even from them and while it’s quite a threat, in terms of strength apart from his illusionist powers and mind games he’s pretty weak Hunter is a trained soldier who has experienced many types of battles and missions. He may not be able to perform magic but we know damn well he can be resourceful like luz. He’s very smart and has incredible physical ability meaning he doesn’t completely rely on his magic. Heres my opinion out of the main 5(1 most dangerous 5 the least) 1. Hunter 2. Willow 3. Gus 4. Amity 5. Luz Yeah all of them are really dangerous, especially if you got the right "bait" or whatever, but I think this is the order.
Luz freaking had the ability and capability to use Glyphs Titan magic and even for a bit was technically half Titan. I suspect that had the series continued with asking getting older Luz would be able to continue tapping into the Titan form. So I feel Luz would be the most powerful.
To be honest, I do think Luz is the most powerful only because she can write a glyph anywhere anytime with her foot or hands, then I think Willow passes Gus by a little bit only because she does seem more in control with her powers, and I think Hunter is the least powerful only because he depends on flapjack.
