For real. It’s like the idea of perfect performance didn’t come around until the mid 2010s. Lots of second generation groups sang live but yeah these days the playback is so loud that you have to really focus to hear the microphones (if they’re even on)

its according their individual contract too, so they have their own choice, like Kahi only 3 years, Bekah 2 years, they called it graduate for some reason like, "leaving" group is bad, "graduate" is good, this graduate system actually real tricky because when 1 member left, the group will potentially lose fan members, like "oh Kahi is graduated, im not listening them anymore" see, unlike SNSD and T-ARA, these group applied full contract like Six years, so no graduating system, it's good because they'll be able to have fixed members so their fans will keep supporting
@@BenRedfield that honestly sounds better than being stuck as an idol for 10 years. During this time, like SNSD and f(x) era, SM was making them sign 10 year contracts before it became illegal. So even when their group was inactive, they're still stuck under the company not being able to release anything. So yeah, I would be happy to be out of the company amicably in 2-3 years.
I'll say this and it's no group's fault, but I love being able to fully hear their voices, not try to guess if their mics might be on over a 100% backup track. Live singing adds a lot to a performance in my opinion and it's severely neglected these days. ;; This is their debut and the stage is absolutely solid, great choreo, good singing, and hot stage presence. I miss this.
