Great interview! My 20 minutes are not wasted watching this. Although Fred Roed interrupted Jamie at the latter part of the interview, it was not a rude approach as he recognized he was interrupting due to time constraint of the interview---twenty minutes! I am interested to get my two kids to Crimson Education soon.

Ahh…the ol “You’re not dumb just poor”. As an international student to ivy leagues you have fees that are almost double that of local students after conversion with no loan support. And no mention of scholarships here either. How many others can be like this guy if their parents were rich enough to pay their kids tuition to the top us schools? This is a result of your typical 1%. No respect .

He does not begin to understand the realities of going to any university from an "underserved" background. Very disappointing to hear an inaccurate and deficient understanding of these barriers being brushed over. The structural barriers alone are boggling. Those who are privileged enough to actually benefit from the barriers that others face know they exist, but rarely acknowledge their own privilege leading- leading to this 2-dimensional understanding of how getting into a good school and then being treated with equal respect for one's achievements is nearly impossible for those from "underserved" backgrounds because of this kind of deep seeded white supremacy. It seems like some people have such a hard time acknowledging their privilege instead of just owning up to it.
