Absolutely great idea. You sound like the smartest person on earth. Use old equipment, still serviceable but old and previously replaced in primary kit. I personally know 4 people who went out and bought brand spanking new equipment for secondary or third emergency kit. I don’t the friendship to slap them senseless. Personally, I have a mix of used and inexpensive new equipment. Guaranteed I spend less than $100 total for new equipment. One suggestion, I included extra shirt, pant, and rain proof, lightweight jacket, jic.
As much as you can compress that rescue blanket, fold it and stick it in a Food Saver bag and vacuum it down, same with socks and underwear and any clothing. This might sound odd, but I pack toothpicks, sure I could carve one from a sliver of wood, but when I need one it drives me crazy trying to find something right now. What about a small stove, even an alcohol stove, you have the Stanley, but what if you can't build a fire? I like the list of things you showed. Good ideas to leave in the vehicle.
Great video as always. I live in the Rockies so I always keep a get home bag in the car but in addition a vehicle emergency kit. With the winters we have you have to change it up as we go from summer to winter. Good reminder I need to get on that soon! Cheers.
Good to have you back Mr.Wolf! Seriously missed your vids bruv! Finally got a SUV and love seeing what you toss in your truck and gives me ideas for mine as well! Thanks so much for sharing this bruv hope you stay safe and have a blessed evening my friend! Cheers, Jerbs 👍🏼🇺🇸🔥🔪🔥🇨🇦👍🏼
Hope everything is o for you now, we've missed you. This is perfect for the season, I'm going through preps and checking everything. Glad you're back dude!
I treat my pick-up as the best tool I have, when I have it. Gear is expensive, so my vehicle gear isn't as good as my go to bug out bag and family bag. And if you are in the same boat as me keep your vehicle in good working order!
I’m currently wanting to upgrade a Ford Raanger so yes I want to see what you did t your new toy 😈 car Did you know you can get LED upgrades for the MagLites? And 4-6 cell D-Cell flashing lights make greate self defense tools.
I have the same HAM radio (licensed) but I don't have two - can you tell me how far you can talk to another one (without repeater)? Have you tested the comms with your wife and what was the result? - Thank you!
The crank flashlight is cool.
Welcome back.....you have been missed.

Only a few miles without a repeater but better than nothing.
I've been debating between the Tundra and Tacoma. What was it that swayed you to the Tundra?
The interior! Way bigger and better for road trips. The backseat of the tacoma is a joke. Tundra all day.
Was it the link??
I was wondering what had happened to this channel?
Glad to see you back!
Thanks Cam!
