hot honey on pepperoni pizza is a relatively new trend that most pizza places have started adopting, i think it’s a delicious pairing with something very salty like pepperoni
It must be since it was our first experience with it. It wasn't bad at all and pretty cool that they included a pack of it in this pizza. I love hot stuff, but if you watch some of our other hot items, you will see LeeAnn does not like it hot, LOL - Thank you for your comment!
I never heard of eating honey with pizza until I tried Chicago Deep Dish pizza. You're supposed to eat the biscuity edge/crust with honey like a buttermilk biscuit. Then people started putting honey directly on the surface of any old pizza. Mike's Extra Hot Honey isn't very spicy for the price, so I make my own honey by steeping 6 chopped habanero peppers, seeds, and all, in 12 ounces of honey from a "bear" bottle. Put the honey and chopped habaneros in a saucepan and cook it on low without simmering or creating bubbles for 10 minutes. Strain the honey, which is now a little less viscous/thick, and pour it back into the bear bottle using a funnel. The honey will be extremely spicy but will mellow a bit after a few days. I have a package of pepperoni I like using to fill in any overly empty spots.
OMG your Hot Honey sounds really hot, maybe even too hot for me, LOL. Oh more Pepperoni is always great for me, But you know LeeAnn always wants more cheese. Thank you for your comment!
Oh, this one made it to our top 10. We have reviewed over 40 pizzas on this channel and do Pizza Fridays almost every week! Let us know if you have a favorite frozen pizza and we will see if we can find! Thank you for your comment!
Oh our Presto Pizzazz? We love it and been using it for years. We also have videos were we made cookies. Amazon and Walmart have them. Thank you for your comment! amzn.to/4bHJtcZ
That looks very good. We've seen hot honey at Trader Joe's -- but have never tried it on pizza. It's good there's a packet of hot honey for those who like it and those who don't. We are "saucy" pizza people -- like it cheesy too - but we always order extra sauce. Great review as always!
YES, I love extra sauce on my pizza, I want to be able to taste the sauce and when there is leftovers the extra sauce help the next day. And you know LeeAnn is all about that cheese, the more the better! Thank you for your comment!
Well LeeAnn didn't want to even try the Hot Honey, if you watch any of our spicy videos you know she does not like hot stuff. It was OK, but I would never put hot honey on my pizza if it wasn't in the box. Thank you for your comment!
Oh yes, it was pretty good, I think it made it into out top 10. But the Hot honey? We didn't get it. I heard from a few people its a new trend, Huh? Thank you for your comment!
@ lol just loved the optimistic pepperoni count, haven’t had a digiorno in years… we have a ton of different frozen local/small batch pizza companies here in central Wisconsin! Every time I go to the grocery store I look for hot honey so I can finally try it though. Sounds great on pizza
@@multiplayermadness9315 We have reviewed a bunch of DiGiorno pizzas, maybe because they are easy to find and go on sale lot. From all of our frozen pizza reviews, it seems the average pepperoni count is 18-19, anything lower is sad. The most pepperoni on a frozen pizza has always been the Screamin Sicilian Pepperoni, they seem to have at least 30! Thank you for your comment!
You can't make a crispy, thin crust pizza with lots of sauce. The sauce would turn the thin crust into mush crust.. The hot honey thing is just a food fad...mostly just sounds good, few people actually like it...mostly stoners probably..lol
Oh yes, that makes alot of sense. I can see the hot honey as a fad, I would never put hot honey on a pizza normally, but since it was in the box..... Thank you for your comment!

That was a good looking pizza. Great review!
Yes, it was pretty good, we might try the three cheese one if we can find that one also. Thank you for your comment!

I'm a little apprehensive about the hot honey part... But the pizza itself looked great 😊✌️
