I mean we know a lot of people who are in love but Britney's almost childish sense of wonder and joy here is so adorable. How can the world treat someone so precious so badly? I know life's like that but I want to complain
That's why I absolutely don't believe when she said in the past that she was in love with Kevin or that Sam is the love of her life. Lies! She has never been so happy and in love with any other man after Justin, maybe she is infatuated with other men but never in love. Her eyes were light and her smile was so bright! I haven't seen her like this since, but in life it happens that sometimes it’s not meant to be together.

He captivated her so strongly she didn't move past the breakup for a long time. People forget Justin was young and must've felt betrayed by someone he knew since childhood and wasn't really malicious after, just a breakup song.

I was a nsync fan during those days and I just want to say Justin doted on Brit like crazy. He would shower her with gifts and follow her on tour whenever he had time. -Tracey - yeah, there were many reports in late. 01 and early 02, photos as well. I remember seeing photos of him inconspicuously entering and leaving a hotel the next day with Nicole Appleton. I think Jenna Dewan (sp?!) admitted to a fling with JT while he was with Britney. There were a couple more too, a poster above goes into more detail in another thread. I remember at the time when it happened, I was weirded out about the whole Britney cheating scandal cos I was like “huh? But he’s been cheating too”

I was a nsync fan during those days and I just want to say Justin doted on Brit like crazy. He would shower her with gifts and follow her on tour whenever he had time. It got to the point where nsync fans were upset because they felt she was taking up too much of his time. They had a rough breakup, partially because of their young age, but to say Brit loved him more than vice versa is really painting an inaccurate image.

He was disappointed, angry and in love and he was still too young and reacted badly. But his love for her was true and I'm sure of this also because in all these years Justin has never stopped writing songs about her. She is his inspiration.
