I just watched 3 other videos on who to paint for beginners and none of them hold a candle to how well you explained the paint, texture, and how to hold a brush. Thank you thank you thank you!!

I love your step by step painting technique. By you explaining each step and making it look simple, that in turn has helped me overcome my "I can't do that" frame of mind. Thank you.

I have watched many tutorials on painting with acrylics and I have to say your's is one of the best. Which discounts the saying "those who can Do and those who can't, Teach. You can Do and you can Teach. Thank you Jane

I've been struggling with finding my 'style' of painting, I tend to use a lot of brush strokes and it can look quite messy. You are so good at describing what you're doing, it really is helping me to enjoy putting paint to canvass rather than struggling with each stroke. Thank you so much.

My daughters and I had a painting party last night. We used another artist's video as a guide. We had great fun, but I think we all agreed that we didn't need the unnecessary and irrelevant repartee between the artist and her cameraman.
    I
We still had great fun, and were pleased with our results.
But I think I can learn a lot more about painting in acrylics watching your videos
Thank you for encouraging me to get back to what I love most--creating art!

Just want to say, I recently found your site, and LOVE your style and your teaching ability. I have spent years 'wanting' to paint, and after watching your Mystical Moon video, I've actually put brush to canvas. I feel like I am in kindergarten; at age 68, it is a good feeling to have something brand new to do. Thank you for your inspiration.

Thank You for making these videos. I have seen a few and decided I would try Mystical Moon. After watching it a couple times I winged it instead of painting it step by step with the video and am very happy with the result. This was only my second painting, obviously this is all new to me and I've learned a lot from your videos. They are well made and full of great information, and You are gorgeous which makes them even more pleasing to watch. Thanks again!

Jane, the really turned out so well done. You make painting look fun. I over design ideas for paintings to the point that I never get out the paint. I feel that I have done it so many times in my head that I never get to the canvas. This was fun to see how it all came together. Now, I know that you answered a question about Bob Ross. You also mentioned when you were a young girl (a few years ago) you and your mom watched Bob Ross and Bill Alexander. I did the same many years ago. Bob Ross had such a soft, pleasing voice that would always put me to sleep. I wanted to watch, but after coming in from working outside, I would relax, watch him, and then fall asleep and miss part of the program.Confession, After starting work at one thirty this morning on an emergency call, after a thunderstorm, I came back at noon, sat down to the computer, turned on this video, and you guessed it,. Your soft, calming voice put me to sleep. The video was interesting, but I was warn out from the early morning job. I will need to watch parts of t his again. This was a great demonstration. thank you.

I'm a late starter in the acrylic painting world lol. My mom and brother and late grandma are fabulous painter's. My mom and I started going to these small classes in town and I was hooked! I bought a small easel, paint, and brushes! I love to paint!

I absolutely love how you teach while we apply it to our paintings. This is only my second canvas, but I felt so at ease. Great job!

+Painting with Jane, it was slightly humorous reading the comment, for I didn't know I was signed in under my husbands account.

Amazing! I LOVE your tutorials! You are a great teacher and you have such a soothing voice. I've been to several painting parties in my area, but I never felt like I was really learning anything until I found you! 😊

omg please please show how you did the mini painting on the right the one with the cool tones like a very pale sky and a few visible trees like it just makes me nostalgic and anxious and nervous and i loveeeeee paintings that trigger those types of emotions because it shows how powerful art is

I just had to say thank you for putting up these videos. I know clicking like helps but I've watched almost all of your videos and I'm so excited to feel like maybe I can do a few of these at home.
