Can’t find the jelly video Amy but this one is great. Brings back so many childhood memories. My mamaw made muscadine jelly. I remember going to the woods, they grew wild, we’d go with mamaw, my aunt Polly and momma, can’t remember if I had a sister at the time, or not. It was such fun to me, just going to get the muscadine …mamaw made jelly out of everything. Blue plum was probably my fave. No one does that anymore, don’t know what they’re missing! 💜

“The scours”..LOL…Girl, you can tell you’ve been around cows. Some of these city folks may not know what that means😊. First time I heard that term was after a met my husband who also grew up around cows. Love me some muscadine jelly and country folks 😉

I lived in rural Mississippj on 13 acres and we were fortunate to have lots of muscadines growing.
We picked them, juiced them, jellied them and even made vine wreaths from their limbs.
One wreath was big enough to grace an empty wall in our local church.
      Prettiest wreath I've ever seen.
The fruit was sweet and so good.

✨✨Hello Sunshine of mine. Do you even have a clue what a delight you are to me? And I know from your comments that you have a boatload of online family and friends who feel the same. I hope each of them love you as much as I do. But I doubt it 😂 Believe it or not I am familiar with muscadines but I have never made jelly of an kind. Our jelly was always homemade and always black raspberry. In PA Grandma had the biggest berries ever. Can't even buy them here in TN. It is also my favorite flavor of ice cream. Do you make Apple Butter? With cinnamon? The best I ever had was sugar free that a friend got me from their church. Now I buy strawberry, blackberry or peach jam or jelly. PB & J is a staple around here.
I think this is my 3rd fall going through Muscatine season with you. Remembering when John Murray took you to pick them so you could stand in the bed of the truck. Do you rem that year? I have some things to tell you and keep planning to write but honestly I've been under the weather for some time. Doing some better now. Thanks for your sincere prayers. ❤ Yakking too much as ususl but I was so happy to see your notification come up. You bring me joy and happiness. I pray I can be a blessing to you. The Lord has given me a message for you. Am anxious to share with you. Love to you, daughter I never had. I wish you were really mine. I love you and pray for you. Btw aren't you proud of Reno?'s numbers? His tenacity is paying off. God bless you! Always rem you have a friend and a momma here in the Appalachians. I'm only a phone call away. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
