Laconia New Hampshire is
celebrating its 125th anniversary.
Today mainly focusing on
Laconia's train station as it is now
125 years old.
Built in 1892 for the Boston and
Maine.
The Winnipasaukee Scenic
Railroad's SW1000 #1012 was doing train rides as
a part of the celebration.
Awesome video. I always wanted to ride that train, mostly with the Fall colors
Thank you Andre, I do agree the foliage is well worth it.
Awesome video. The new Intro is awesome!
Thanks Collin
Railfanning101. No Problem. Do you have any more videos of the NEGS going up?.
Unfortunately I don't have any more footage.
Great video Myles! Like the new intro!
Thanks!
How often is laconia used?
Henry Brighton Us at the Hobo RR don’t use it that often for regular service, which is pretty stupid if you ask me. However we would like to start running down to Laconia in the near future, specially during Bike Week and the 4th of July
JKC bruh thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I’m headed down there soon actually and I wanted to know if I should look for it. Are the rails being ripped up because I heard some rumors they are.
Henry Brighton No they are not, quite the opposite actually. While we plan on running trains down to Laconia Station in the future, we’re installing bathrooms and benches in and around the station
