The family situation will never be fixed for anyone as long as there is a financial incentive to behave poorly in marriage and take the assets of the men. Unwed mother rate is well over 40% nationwide.

Black America needed desegregation not integration. Dr King even said shortly before his assassination, that he feared he was integrating his people into a burning building. He was correct. Blacks just needed access to opportunity and capital, not living in the house next to Brad and Becky. There’s only individual empowerment there.

It kills me when people say it’s never been great for us black Americans here in America. If your focus is solely on racism, then you’re absolutely correct. If you’re focus is on family, community, business, then you’re absolutely wrong! Prior to integration, black Americans had all of this in abundance. Nowadays we make more money, but have NO family, and community! That’s not working for us at all, thus let’s make America great again.

Black Americans had family, community and business as they were ALLOWED, and when those things started to interrupt white power and hegemony, they were taken away and quickly. That doesn't mean Black people didn't (and don't) have meaning in our lives but I think we can't lie to ourselves about how we got to the place we're in.

True we had that stuff, but white supremacy is the reason we dont have it as much. When we had all that and they saw us as a threat and put things in place to knock us back. Things like section 8 and welfare forced black men out the home. Then they used abortion to lower our population so that we would have no control and would always stay the minority. With Intergration they now teach our children what they want to teach them, we don't get loans like we use to, so that we can start a thriving business. They have created laws and policies to throw more of our people in prison. All of this falls under racisim and white supremacy and they go about it in a different way. This is why it has never been great for us, and when we come together to do things as a people on are own they destroy or shut it down. White supremacy has always been the elephant in the room. These people do slick things so that they can continue to rule over us. All the things they do to us is out of fear. They seem to be affraid that we would do to them what they did to us.

@@michaelhigginsjr.6752 the lie is saying whites allowed us to have family after slavery, that’s just not even close to being historically true. The truth historically is blacks right after slavery became the highest married all the way till lendon Johnson’s welfare offered women benefits but required no man in the house. There’s no historian who’d dare argue against this fact since we have the records to prove it. Even the Johnson administration couldn’t believe what women started doing.
With the marriages we had actual communities, are you truly claiming whites destroyed black communities nationwide from the time of slavery till the 60s? That’s historically false! Despite the murders via lynching, beatings, fires, gunshots, etc, black Americans were the highest percentage married, had actual communities, and thriving businesses. Integration destroyed that, not white people. White ice was colder, even though it was the same ice sold by black store owners. White merchants products were better, white buses were better, etc, even though we had the same stuff!
This is the single reason black businesses went the way of the dodo bird…you can literally watch documentaries mentioning this.
Maybe the understanding of what a community is needs to be learned, for this watch Dr Claud Anderson explain everything I said in detail! If you can’t accept facts from that elder who wrote the first affirmative action bill giving dates and laws, then you just have a need to be right.

A DISSENTING VIEW: America is the greatest country on earth for anybody regardless of their skin color which is why millions of people risk their lives to get here every year. Often times, on this podcast, of which I am a huge fan of, I've heard brother Oshay reference the $2T spending power that Black America has... this is far in advance of most collective demographics on the planet. The thing that holds black America back, and I see this with regards to African nations is a commonality in worldview and belief system. When people are saying "black" in America they are no longer referencing skin color they are referencing an adherence to ideology... which is why most places dominated by black people in America tend to have a marxist worldview. This is why nothing in a city like Philadelphia (I'm from Philadelphia, SWP) works, because there are more rules (reasons to get locked up) which leads to the mass incarceration that black America is constantly complaining about, In the confines of a republic... you are free to hang yourself, that's what American Freedom is. There is no incentive to build a flourishing economy because taxes are high and regulations are abundant. The political slogan "Make America Great Again", that of which Donald Trump explains profusely is a nationalist call to restore the American Production might which no other country in the world can compete with when we are operating optimally. Trump didn't go to Africa or the Middle East to get oil, he allowed for companies to pump it right here in America. He didn't overtly push the effort to move towards EVs and the American car market if left to its own devices is not looking for EVs... so China and these African countries can keep their lithium if its up to the people who voted for Trump. Trump was also not culturally imperialistic to African countries... meaning he didn't press the world bank to cut funding to countries like Uganda because of their cultural positioning towards to LGBTQIA agenda. Make America Great Again has nothing to do with race. Pay attention to the US 2024 exit polls and you'll see a lot of black Americans moving in the MAGA direction. I also wouldn't expect a Brit to understand this because he's a subject to the King... We dont have a king here and we kicked their ass in the revolutionary war to get away from that relationship with the government,

"When people are saying "black" in America they are no longer referencing skin color they are referencing an adherence to ideology". Which people and whats the ideology? So right before Black men get shot, they inquire about their cosmology?
Is the presumption that American wealth was generated with the advent of the New Deal (1930's) or the "Industrial Age"? What was the Black condition during these times?
Is this the same Trump that also said we shouldn't allow immigration from sh!thole countries? What in the Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde is going on here. Sounds like he respects their autonomy, but not them.

Neither party has our (FBA) best interest or any of our interests in mind or at heart, so voting for either is throwing that vote away at best or voting against our best interests at worst.
Whoever is elected in 2024 and occupies the oval office in 2025 and beyond, will not set policies that will favor FBAs based on what has been occurring in this country so far.
Both parties are set on eliminating us, in some form, one way or another.
Our focus or emphasis, I strongly believe, should be on what to do, and how, going forward, after the election as an economic and social block that will fortify us as a political block to be reckoned with and not to be taken lightly on any of our issues, demands or concerns.
Yes, voice our grievances and discontent over the airwaves and through visual media, but our strategies and tactics to deal with them should be tested, first to determine whether they are effective, and remain confidential until it's time to put them into action or deploy them.
We, as FBAs, must assemble and mobilize or continue to do so, in more effective ways, in order to survive what is, and what's coming, based on what we've experienced, know, and can forsee from WS, an institution that continues to impose it's will on us as a collective which, in turn, can affect us as individuals.

Rap music started out talking about Black struggles, seccesses, and knowledge. Now it's gangster, violent, and trashy women as examples for our kids. LGBT started out saying hey just don't k*** them or r*** them, now they're telling everyone what they should call themselves, and pushing it in schools, which is crazy.
