I personally think it's a very good value. My first car was a 40 Ford Sedan, and l presently own one that's almost identical to it. Sadly l'm afraid many of the older guys that cherished these cars have died off, thus lowering their desirability and value. It caught me by surprise that young people don't seem to appreciate them. The cars were built long before l was born too. So what's up?
I couldn't agree more. Many times we buy off emotion and what we remember. Sadly, the generation of people that remember the older cars are leaving us.
JMHO... beautiful restomod but I think it's suffering from an identity crisis, ...It's the wheel/tire combo. Clearly those are aftermarket wheels [and tires] judging by the width, and given the new powerplant well suited to the ride. But the subdued nature of them, plus the car color selection say "old classic with modern drivetrain". Don't get me wrong, as I say I think it's a really pretty car, but if it were me I'd go in either one of two directions; Keeps the wheels as is but throw some whitewalls on it. Give it more of the "classic look", I bet it will really POP! Given the wide rims it will even give it a '50's hotrod look. That's the less expensive route, the alternate would be to give it some aggressive "hot rod" wheels and keep the blackwalls to go for a more extroverted Restomod look. Personally I'd go the whitewall route, I think it will really make it stand out and give it that extra edge a buyer would be looking for. Google 1940 Ford with Whitewalls and see what I mean? Good luck!!
Interesting and great looking
