    I hope that one day science advances enough for one person to experience both of these and settle this cursed argument once and for all.

      Even if that were possible, it still wouldn't solve the subjectivity issue.

      We’d need more than one person for a consensus. Pain is highly subjective. What’s agonizing for some people can be mild discomfort for others.

    As someone who has had testicular torsion i can tell you that being kicked in the balls is nothing compared to having your testicle twisted. The most pain i have ever had and it lasted for hours on end. The first couple hours were manageable but the last three hours were complete and utter hell. I kept on vomiting. I can gladly say that the surgeon was able to save both my balls.

    I definitely fear giving birth and probably never will. On top of everything I've learned online, my sister giving birth traumatized me too. Her first child got stuck at her pelvis bone. The bone wouldn't shift for the baby, due to her body structure. She was in horrible pain for hours trying to push him into her pelvis. Eventually they did an emergency c-section when it was obvious he couldn't get out. Then again, his head was off the charts of large lol he's almost 18 now, and over 6' 😂 she had a second son but immediately had a c-section.

      @@yb1386 Both hurt, just like with both you can die. Not from the pain but from the trauma which can lead to other injuries or infections.
      The difference here is, would you rather get kicked in the balls or suffer a whole year of pain? Birth is just part of it, you have the first 9 months of pregnancy to deal with and then after labour which is 6 months postpartum. Thats over a year of physical and mental pain. Remember that you easily become a target for men or anyone to take advantage of you now that you’re limited due to that huge belly.
      So tell me, do you prefer getting kicked in the balls or labor? Assuming that you dont get hurt hard enough to need surgery. Even so, surgery will still save you and will still last a week or two with some pain meds. Meanwhile a birth can tear you and you still need to go to work while your organs are still getting into place for the next 6 months.

    Getting kicked in the balls is 9000 del units of pain, which is equivalent to giving birth to 160 child and 3200 broken bones at the same time.

    • @ughmuggles1815
      @ughmuggles1815 3 месяца назад +2

      You forgot the pain that comes with it for 9 months, plus an extra 6 months of postpartum.
      So id rather get kicked in the balls than suffer a whole year. My pregnancy was miserable for me. I suffered every trimester and that is the only reason why i still refuse to get pregnant again. My mind may have forgotten the pain of birth but did not forget the pain i dealt with all 9 months. Fuck that.
