You guys need some king pin inclination and caster. Cut those spindle mounts off and lean them back at the top12-15 degrees as viewed from the side (caster angle), and lean the vertical axis as viewed from the front in at the top 6-8 degrees (KPI), then cut and reweld the spindles themselves to return the wheels to vertical.
Years ago during the rat rod wagon build, I commented that you guys should put a smog-pump-supercharger on the Briggs flathead. I know that comment had nothing to do with this build, but this is cooler than I could ever hope for, and as always I loved watching this project!
These are what I've grown up on and to see how far they have come from that wagon until now always astonishes me and I remember that comment and I remember sitting there and say oh yea they should totally do that
Love you guys! I’m an old time mechanic born in 1957! Best year ever!!! For cars!! And Presidents IKE! I really look forward to watching the crazy stuff you guys do!
I cant remember which build I became a fan of yalls, I know you were still back at dads house. I enjoyed watching all yalls builds but this one has REALLY got my interest because of the look. All the design aspects, the flat four engine, the model A style frame. Defantly looking forward to the final look.
Definitely the coolest thing ya'll have built in a while. I agree with Isaac on that. The air shocks from a semi as bags is GENIUS guys. And I wasn't sure about the dash when Ike was describing it, but it really gives it a rat rod look. Great job guys! Super stoked for the next episode!
this channel, ike and john. has been apart of my life for 9 years. in those 9 years i also grew up watching these guys grow up and their projects and channel grow up. not a day goes by that i don’t watch a video, just rewatching old ones and new ones. thank you guys for the joy you bring. you do more than just post videos for us. you bring us happiness and help us on the bad days. thank you for what you do. both of you
OMG, love the design elements employed! This is, by far, my favorite build and combined powerplant your team has conjured! I especially appreciate the ingenuity and originality of the design.
Enjoying the multi episode custom builds over the 1 and done basic rebuilds/swaps. I know they take more planning and money, hope you can fit a few more in throughout the year.
Ok. OG guy to the channel but I got to ask, I understand the "magic box" completely. But can I just mention maybe you guys finding a golf car rear axle/Differential, and build a driveshaft instead of the magic box and you can build/ weld up the rear for a Posi/limited slip. Also having a lathe. You can narrow the golf cat axle. Great channel just trying to lent an idea or two for ya. Cheers.
Way to be creative on this project. It’s looking good! I’ll be honest, I’ve scratched my head more than a few times watching you guys build things, but this in my opinion is one of your best builds yet.
Even with your old skool hot rod kart. This looks more legit with this channel. The motor looks like something that came from a car or mini car. This build has to be 1 of top 5. FANTASTIC JOB!!! Please keep at it Had to come back and edit. It looks like a shrunk down rad rod. NICE!!!
Heavy women also too, we have a lady we call Tiny; she’s every bit of 400 pounds! She never uses air suspension, rides on the floor; says knees don’t hurt from bouncing up n’ down all day long!
Its crazy you guys fixed that engine up, i found a running one a few days after watching the video for $200 but i had no use for it so i didnt get it, sad story
Move the CVT to directly below the crankshaft which will line up directly with the right angle rear drive. Then create a short transmission tunnel allowing you to put your feet either side of the engine. The dash idea looks awesome.
Do a watts link in the front! Mount the bell crank to the frame in the center and have two bars running to your axle with some heim joints. It would help getting rid of the lateral deflection you would have with a pan hard bar. Not to mention it would be cooler.
Your magic box, reminds me of a device a friend of mine put on his home made minibike back in 1963. He had a vertical shaft lawn mower engine .... his father worked for sears, repairing appliances, and got the 'gear box' from an old washing machine. He put a centrifugal clutch on the shaft of the engine, then mounted that 'gear box', kind of as a jack shaft, converting vertical to horizontal, and the horizontal shaft had a sprocket back to the rear mini bike wheel. The mini bike was a bit longer than most ... actually the frame was made out of angle iron ... but the big benefit of the 'gear box' was that moving the lever, gave him forward and reverse. Not that you need reverse on a mini bike, but it was absolutely different.
If you take the wheel borrow bucket and turn it around then tip the the backside down it makes for a comfortable seat. I used to work on a farm and when I got a chance I would tip the wheel barrel down on the handles and take a nap!
I think yall should have dbl the frame rails under the tub past the magic box. It stiffens the frame and raises the tub for more clearance. Love the front end setup.
I'm pretty sure the gas was turned off for that first tack 2:48 . Before you weld (at the start of the day) always purge the air out of the system so that the first puff of gas isn't a gut full of air. Hope that helps
This is the content I truly love.. do t get me wrong I like the revival stuff but actual builds like this truly gets my attention .. love it guys.. btw miss ya Charles
I have always called this style front end a suicide front axle setup. We use them alot on our hot rod builds. I love building bagged trucks. This will be cool!!
Honestly I feel like cutting the front of the wheel barrow off so you have leg room and then building a firewall/dash would make the seating a lot more practical. But this is an awesome build regardless! Love the creativity as always
If you tilt the wheelbarrow up so the back is just a bit more vertical, itll let your legs hang right over the front. Puts you in a pretty perfect sitting position. Gives you the room for the magic box also.
I saw the thumnail and had a hell yeah brother moment. Also, i have an auger drive from a toro snowblower. It reminds me of a quick change rear end. That instead of a magic box would look trick.
Last week when you showed us that engine and line with the wheelbarrow and the wheels I was thinking a magic box would be perfect for this build obviously you guys are thinking the same way too you have a great day and this is gonna be another awesome classic build from cars and cameras now when you're gonna launch it in the air again at the dirt hills beside John's father's house , Isaac. You all have a great day in great weekend
If you were to use a larger diameter tube for the side exhaust, the tube itself will act as an echo tip....and should get some really good sound out of that awesome little 4 cyl. The tub is looking really good. I'm interested to see how you manage the steering. The airbag/radius rod suspension is BRILLIANT.
1 am and this Old Man from Washington NC just getting a chance to watch with my coffee ☕. WOW 😲. What a awesome video 😍. Really looking forward to seeing the completion. Love You Guys. 🛵🧔💝💝
This is kickass. Touches frame and all. Id struggle myself though with riding with my legs crossed. I like to stretch out. Id have to do something different on that
The shaft for the driven clutch can be shortened up for more foot room. Pockets to mount the top of the air bags should be mounted in a pocket. The pocket mount would look good off the side of the frame
Seeing the suspension coming together like that, it'd be so cool if someone where to build a kart like that but used an interconnected suspension as per the Citroen 2CV (yes, I'm somewhat biased towards that little french car!), the smoothest ride you can get with springs, meaning you can put all your eggs in one basket... :P
Working on my own T-bucket wheelbarrow project and im really looking forward to this build. You guys will be my free R&D department.
You could make a tiny truck bed off the back from an old toolbox 😂
Glad you mentioned it on here so we can all follow along on your channel. Can't wait to check out all of your videos on this!

Dude I remember that comment!😅 ! We have been here a while!
Rat Rod wagon is the build that got me watching these guys!!
These are what I've grown up on and to see how far they have come from that wagon until now always astonishes me and I remember that comment and I remember sitting there and say oh yea they should totally do that
does that actually work? ive got a couple smog pumps hanging around
Love you guys! I’m an old time mechanic born in 1957! Best year ever!!! For cars!! And Presidents IKE! I really look forward to watching the crazy stuff you guys do!

Always make sure to put oil in that blower. Lots of them come empty, and those end up failing quite fast unless oils added.
You should’ve considered making the barrow a little longer so you are not uncomfortable riding in it
@stanleywilder6646 see i would have... but..... i'm not carsandcameras. But thanks for the advice anyway! 😃
We checked it but thanks for the suggestion
@@DrGibs347 Stanley is lost. He thought this was a gardening channel.

Air bags from a semi cab air ride would be perfect
The Wheelie Barrow seems fitting !

Yall should paint it up like an old WW2 military jeep. sweet.
They should cram one of those 4cyl engines into the mini jeep lol
I’m kinda digging the patina but that would be pretty cool!
Nah. They just need to do an Actual "Jeep Rod" build with a WW2 jeep!!
OMG, love the design elements employed! This is, by far, my favorite build and combined powerplant your team has conjured! I especially appreciate the ingenuity and originality of the design.
You guys gotta get another one of those engines and build a custom 4wd military style jeep. Would be awesome 👍😁
Looking good guys, loving the bags 👍🏻 On the subject of tig welding, you might want to clean your surfaces before welding, helps a lot.
It definitely makes a difference, thanks
This has got to be my favourite build yet! This thing has so much personality.. it’s like it WANTS you to build it
Enjoying the multi episode custom builds over the 1 and done basic rebuilds/swaps. I know they take more planning and money, hope you can fit a few more in throughout the year.
Oregon approves this project.
503 seal of approval
Air ride on a go cart is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while. Good job guys. Keep up the good work.

Remember the golfcart they built? Imagine that engine in the/a golfcart
@@brianbudd8487 yes i do. Agreed. Very cool build. Hope to do a build with my son soon.
I miss the rat rod wagon. For such a simple build it was super cool!!! Love the build so far!
And Jackie.
This is the grown up version of that build!
Absolutely!!!
Way to be creative on this project. It’s looking good! I’ll be honest, I’ve scratched my head more than a few times watching you guys build things, but this in my opinion is one of your best builds yet.

I'm looking at my old wheelbarrow in a whole new light
Looking like an old T bucket roadster love it
As a truck driver, those trucker seats have some HEAVY guys sitting in them I think this kart will be fine
Lol. That's what I was thinking
Heavy women also too, we have a lady we call Tiny; she’s every bit of 400 pounds! She never uses air suspension, rides on the floor; says knees don’t hurt from bouncing up n’ down all day long!
I absolutely love this thing. I was hoping the video would be the full build. 😩
Freakin sick dude. I’m glad you guys Stuck with the bags, that’s going to complete the rat rod look.
I’ve been following you guys since I was in 9th grade im 25 now I’ll say you guys taught me to always trust your gut It’ll be fine
I think this is the coolest looking build that you guys have done so far
This is going to be a sweet build! love the sound!
Your little rat rod buggy is so freakin` cool. Nice work guys, can`t wait to see the finished kart.
An option could be to build the frame rigid and put the 4 seat bags under the tub... so the driver had an air ride. Great build
Flip the leftover half of the pink wheel barrow over and use it as a hard top roof. Like a t-bucket
Gotta tell ya, found your channel a couple a weeks ago, and all your videos are golden! This is probably gonna be favorite yet, love the wheelbarrow!
The air suspension in the rear will be such a game changer you guys don’t even know yet!
Do a watts link in the front! Mount the bell crank to the frame in the center and have two bars running to your axle with some heim joints. It would help getting rid of the lateral deflection you would have with a pan hard bar. Not to mention it would be cooler.

Super fun episode guys, your enthusiasm is contagious!
I saw a tiny hotrod... i clicked... didnt even read the title, im not disappointed
You two never cease to amaze me. Ten thousand thumbs up!!!!
If you take the wheel borrow bucket and turn it around then tip the the backside down it makes for a comfortable seat. I used to work on a farm and when I got a chance I would tip the wheel barrel down on the handles and take a nap!
An atom style suspension would probably work nice in the front end.
Those Kenda speed racer rear tires make a smoke show 🤟🏾
I GOT IT! The Rut Rod Wagon.
yessssssssssss
You should use body mounts on the frame and tub like they use on trucks.
New to welding how do you purge the air out of the system?
THIS is MY favorite kind of c&c video 🤩
Been watching y’all for years and this project has gotta be my favorite for sure!!
those bags are fire. Great build fellas!!
This is the content I truly love.. do t get me wrong I like the revival stuff but actual builds like this truly gets my attention .. love it guys.. btw miss ya Charles
Y’all come a long way since the Rat Rod Wagon build!
Cool project! I see the "Grocery-getter" Trail 90 in the background. Love that thing. I'm putting a ZS212 in mine. 👍😎👍
Finally, full suspension!
Love, Love Love wheelbarrow rods. Blown opposed 4 cylinder..........SUPER COOL!!!! 👍👍
This is probably my favorite project yet! Can’t wait to see the spectacle of this thing riding around!
Caster fella's... you are REALLY gonna want some caster
Take the rest of the other barrow and put it standing up on the back of the tub, so it looks like a George Barris coffin style roof.
Get these Guys an Evolution chop saw!!!!
By far one of the coolest build done by CarAndCameras
I think the dash looks cool 😎
I have always called this style front end a suicide front axle setup. We use them alot on our hot rod builds. I love building bagged trucks. This will be cool!!
I love all ya'lls projects but I gotta admit this one is probably my favorite in a long while. Looking forward to seeing it roll!
Honestly I feel like cutting the front of the wheel barrow off so you have leg room and then building a firewall/dash would make the seating a lot more practical. But this is an awesome build regardless! Love the creativity as always
I love these little 4 cylinder military Chrysler engines, they look awesome and sound great too
Some of these builds you might look into the mini-sprint world, drivetrains, suspension and such.
If you tilt the wheelbarrow up so the back is just a bit more vertical, itll let your legs hang right over the front. Puts you in a pretty perfect sitting position. Gives you the room for the magic box also.
Love the air ride
I saw the thumnail and had a hell yeah brother moment.
Also, i have an auger drive from a toro snowblower. It reminds me of a quick change rear end. That instead of a magic box would look trick.
You guys ROCK! Keep up the great work.
Best build yet !

return of the magic box on a rat rod!!
I honestly think a set of zoomies would look awesome for the exhaust
The Bags Make the ride... Defin need a complete custom paint job to finish it off, Possibly keeping a camo theme mix
A "little red wagon" cut in half, give or take, would make a good pickup bed. Cool project guys.
I haven't been as excited for a new project since the rat rod wagon !
Get a couple pitch forks and use the tines as a grille to help with the farm-equipment rat-rod look
John be hitting the gym, looking more buff
Awsome cant wait to see it finished
Use a couple hockey pucks in beween the tub and frame for some creature comfort vibration dampening 😊
There is a driveshaft system with the 750 rpm spline at tractor supply
Use the leftover wheel barrow body to make a matching trailer. Not only for someone to ride in, but to pick up stuff at meets.
Hello, from Toronto Canada that looks sick brother's as all your projects do! Love your channel guy's but miss seeing Charles on show.
I am liking the wheel barrell rat rod go-cart guys!
The Barrow-Rod is looking well cool fellas. Lovin it 😍
Looks like the cozy coupe
Very excited about this build!!
Dadi must have!
Awesome build guys!
You guys are fulfilling my childhood builds in full scale! Lol
Would love to see you guys build a T-barrow with a Honda CX500, water-cooled V-twin, shaft drive, 50hp 5 speed, can't miss.
I love when yall do cool builds like this it looks BADASS good job guys
Yall always have some of the coolest builds ever
Needs straight up stacks with the flamethrower kits! This things wicked!
