Hey guys! This was such a weird experience for me 🤔. Did I do anything wrong? I also tried NOT to use Memcached and go with "Disk:Basic" for everything, but this just didn't made any difference... Let me know what you think, I'm always happy to learn. 😊
hey mine shows minify via disk is currently disabled what should i do??

Hi Matt. how do you uninstall W3 total cache? If I uninstall it from plugins > installed plugins from the WP dashboard, do I have to manually remove anything from the control panel as well?
Hi there! Thanks for the question. Normally when you de-activate the plugin and then remove it, it should delete all its stuff by itself. So just go that route, should work fine 😀👍🏻
Hi Matt, Weird indeed ! again, fabulous tutorial. I wanted to use W3 Total cache because it has object caching included. When I use the Redis plugin,(my hosting co uses redis) nothing works and I can't connect it to Wp. When making changes in the cache plugin php, adding the ip address to the host nam'e broke the site. and using the hostname 'host' doesn't work either. ports set up, pw and other settings defined in the php config. With W3 3 cache, object caching works fine. Do you have a solution for this please? I need to install object caching. But obviously, total cache is not the answer. Thank you, best regards,

Did you clear the SG caching after u installed the plugin? The issue with SG is that you can not fully disable SG caching! Only if you modify some files....
Hi Machael! Great comment, thanks. Yeah I did cleared the cache inside the hosting panel. Also in the source code it was entirely stripped and compressed, so that gave me the idea all was well... What files do you need to modify then? Sounds interesting 😊
how the fook do I unlink this w3 with my google I just linked ,. I followed all the steps trusted you ,. in the end you fooked ,. by deleting the plugin,.. hahah
Hahaha! Yes you are absolutely right. In the first seconds I warn everybody hahaha. So just unlink it and remove plugin, done 😀👍🏻
Im wondering if I have a cache problem...If I make an update to my site then post a link to that page...the link image is the old one, not the pone I update to....is there a away to speed this up?
Hi there! Thanks for your question. It’s the way caching works, however when updating paging or posts, the cache should auto empty cache so that the new content shows. So what you could do: empty caches - open your website in a new incognito screen - when working on your website, disable caching plugin entirely. Also make sure the caching of your hosting company also empties at the right time.

Hi there! That’s odd. Just delete the plugin and install it again, that might work! However, I do not recommend W3 Total Cache at all for your website…
@@WPressDoctor My website is new and fast without a cache plugin and most of them appear to be quite expensive but I know site speed is an SEO consideration Google takes into account so, is it okay to invest in a cache plugin later on once you start getting plenty of traffic and a substantial amount of money to pay for the plugins on a regular schedule?
Yeah that’s a smart approach if your website is fast already 👍🏻😀 first make money with it and then invest it back in the business.

Another thing, you previously mentioned you don't recommend the W3 cache plugin. What cache plugin would you recommend to a guy who really doesn't want to fiddle through plenty of settings but still wants a cache plugin that would improve their site speed substantially?

Is the free version of WP-rocket Good enough??? Or is purchasing the pro a necessity
Hi Nelson! Thanks for your question. Unfortunately there is no free version of WP Rocket, only a premium version. However, they do have a 30-day money back guarantee. So you can “test” it.
My thoughts: a disclaimer at the beginning would have been the kind and sensitive thing to do. Wasted 30min I sadly didn't even have when I could have just been told to skip to the different approach and be set in 3min.

Hi Andrea, thanks for the question. Unfortunately I have tried a lot of different free caching plugins ans also some paid ones. WP Rocket really stays the best out there. So no, there is no other free plugin that I know of.

Yes, WP Rocket does the best job. Combinable with Imagify. Also EWWW with SWIS does a great job. Ewww does support avif, which is more powerful than webp

Hello. I followed your steps, but suddenly I got a blank page in the middle of the tutorial. Now I am not even able to access my WP admin and the website has disappeared… what can I do now ?
Hi there! That’s not good. Might be the reason why I don’t advice you to use this plugin for caching… login via FTP or file manager via hosting and delete the folder containing the plugin 👍🏻😀

No question W3TC can lead to bad results. I've developed code + features for it in the past. The issue is because of its endless options one cant just leave on its defaults and expect good results. One must tweak it. In your case, it is likely u had your js/css minified and placed in the top header. You did set it to "blocking" (default setting) after all. w3-Rocket on the other hand does not set them to blocking and does move them out of the header. For the avg user who just wants to fire-forget Rocket seems more like the logical choice. For very big sites with specific use-cases and per-page nuances, w3tc is the way to go since rocket cant help you at that level.

It looks like you just nailed the famous SEO tool on the cross, dropped it at the edge of a cliff, on the part of a tornado.. W3TC needs what Jesus did to his friend Lazarus 🤣. By the way, always a great tutorial!

Hi there sir. Thank you for your honest question. I would not use NULLED products because there always will be a catch to it. You never know if malicious files are in there and if there is a backflip inside of it. Also no updates 😓

Hi there! Thats not suppose to happen. try disabling Javascript systems inside of W3 Total Cache. This might help!
In W3.. Performance > General Settings > Page Cache > Find "REST API" and select "Don't Cache" instead of "Disable REST API". This worked for me and I hope it helps you!

Ah that’s not good. Uninstall, and switch to wp.discount/wp-rocket-discount/ that’s the one I use on ALL of my websites 😀👍🏻
Hi, thank you but you would've just told us in the begining that you changed it, because in the way you prepared the video you keep cloning this unsuccessful experience with anyone that follows you, you could tell your honest opinion and we would have saved time, efforts and appreciated that instead of feeling the way I do now! i was about to unsubscribe but I said maybe he has other beneicial tutorials and I found the one about wordfence that I happen to follow before and that worked. trust is a very hard thing to build, and this video affects it negatively in my opinion. thank you for everything and wish you all the best.
