Maestro Bill Watrous on this recording playing the slide trombone: compliments of Mr. Clint Eastwood's personal request for Bill Watrous to play on this recording and many others Bill Watrous did for Mr. Clint Eastwood...
Just watched the movie and had to know who the trombonist was on this tune. A little Google research and discovered Mr. Bill Watrous was providing those beautiful smooth licks.
Goodnight. I'm looking for a soundtrack for a movie that used songs by a North American composer/musician, I think jazz. I remember that this musician had been forgotten, and he was remembered in this film, and he came to be well regarded by critics and society. I thought it was some Clint Eastwood movie, but I don't think it is. It's a movie from the 90's, probably between 1995 and 1999. Does anyone have any idea who I'm talking about?
This music make me so fly

Almost all of Eastwood’s non-westerns have excellent jazz somewhere in the soundtrack.
Lennie Niehaus the master of Saxophone
I wish this could be the perfect soundtrack for the closing credits of the Movie FIREFOX.
Smooth to the Core🎶

Only Senior El Maestro Watrous had this virtuosity and ease of play and this range! A trombone Star in his own galaxy.
@@BrunoGebarski Reminds me of the great Dick Nash who was often featured by Henry Mancini.
