Wondering what was going through Dolly Parton's mind as she was writing this song. What actually informed this song? What was the drive? Well, this is my saddest song but I just can't stop listening to it....
sounds really similar to the story of La Llorona, but lots of folklore stories around the world are similar to eachother, either by coincidence or because of people travelling and telling these stories to others which is why i find this song so great and interesting.
