  • OUAT S5E4: The Broken Kingdom
    Camelot is just green screen y'all
    Can someone tell me in the comment section how does this Avalon sand works again? I get it when he used it to Guinevere so she could see that Arthur isn't as 'broken' or 'full of flaws' but I don't get the effect it has on Snow + Charming. Like, why are they being mind-controlled and on his team now? This 'brainwashed' loyalty supersedes their love for Emma? I mean I'm pretty sure that at one point they'll know that there's something's wrong. Plus, since Camelot and its grandness is fake, why does the the rest of the OUAT peeps can still view it as a grand kingdom, aren't they like not being hit by the Avalon sand? Sorry, I'm writing this all out of excitement.
    Can someone please enlighten me please?
    Do share with all the ONCERS out there!

    I see a lot of Rumple in Arthur. Both obsessed with that flippin dagger. Both starving for power and control, both never being truly satisfied with what they have.

      +Dylan Parker Except Rumpel never used Magic to make her into something she isn't. Even in the second season when Belle asked him if he would use magic on her if he didn't do what she said, he said he wouldn't And he was even willing to let her be with WIll.

    the sands seems like a magic band aid to a problem. on items they appear fixed.
    on people at least Guenevere it appears to fix her damaged love for him or at least makes her think everything is fine. It seems to also give her some perspective since she is made to understand the importance of the quest.
    I am guessing with snow and charming it repaired their trust in the king making them willing to follow him.

    I can't believe that Once Upon a Time had evil Arthur, Disney had recently acquired Star Wars, but there was no reference to Mordred and "Arth Vader", or does Disney not want to admit that Arthur banged his sister? Yes, I played the Saber Wars event in Fate/grand order.

    • @ChristineTheHippie
      @ChristineTheHippie 8 лет назад +2

      I agree it 's too bad Mordred wasn't in this, but being Disney, they probably didn't feel comfortable with the whole incest bit. It would be interesting if Mordred was in this, but was on the good side and no one believed him until after and then had to apologize and ask his help to take down Arthur.

    • @DarkAdonisVyers

      Now, that I think about it, Arthur had Mordred with Morgan, and Lancelot had Galahad with Elaine. My Arthurian lore might be lacking, but did Guinevere get pregnant with either Arthur or Lancelot?

    When Arthur accused Guinevere of having an affair with Lancelot her face changed like they were talking about two different things and she said, "Its not what you think, he is saying goodbye he leaving Camelot." Why would she say that? What does she even mean Cause to me it seems she doesn't love Lancelot the way he loves her, cause remember she never directly said she loved Lancelot. Also there was barely any romance between Guinevere and Lancelot and its a very odd response considering she was just accused of cheating. Look I know it was wrong for Arthur to use the sands on her, but everyone got so riled up on Guinevere's "Brainwashing" that Guinevere and Lancelot's betrayal was not even or barely acknowledged, because you at least think the reason why would have been mentioned. Honestly, the whole Camelot arc was total joke to begin with.

      I don’t think Guinevere loves Lancelot he way he loves her, because when she said that she follow her heart to where it belongs and Arthur accused her of having an affair she said, “it’s not what you think, he saying goodbye, he leaving Camolet!” And keep in mind Arthur just saw them embracing. Look I am not condoning what he did but everything got so rilled up about the so called brainwashing that no one aside from me and few other people notice the reason why was not even mentioned and let’s not forget Guinevere was the one who gave him the sands in the first place, and if you look at their interaction it does not seem that Arthur is distant from Guinevere. In the second episode of season five, in one scene Guinevere and Arthur were talking about Perceval and the heroes and he pulls out the sword and puts it on the table and Guinevere puts her hand in the sword and if you look at the scene Arthur is very hesitant to touch her hand like he doesn’t want to be near her. But my point is that Guinevere never directly said she loved Lancelot or even said that she didn’t loved Arthur or was leaving him.
