It worked (i.e. maps now shows me in the fake fixed location) but...trying to change youtube TV home location and I think it is looking at the ip and not allowing the change...express vpn does not show a Pittsburgh area to get around this. ugh...but thanks for getting me this far.
Correction for mine, Marshmallow I believe: Path is Settings/site settings. Not Privacy and security/site settings I learned that Android SUCKS storage when you allow updates and the system now takes 10G of my 16G phone. This is a real disaster and it continues to grow worse. I am so punished by bloated app sizes that I'm constantly deleting things I want, and the worst is the OS itself.
Is it better than FakeGPS? Never mind that. The question is, does it USE LESS STORAGE than FakeGPS? Almost 100% of my decision process for Android apps is storage space. With the Android system EVEN ON MARSHMALLOW consuming over 10G of a nonembarrassing 16G phone, and even with a 32G SD card that I change storage to whenever possible (which is disgustingly rare), I never have space to add apps and constantly have to remove some because Android is more bloated than Microsoft. Let's hope I don't die from not having a Compass app one day, because Android's O.S. takes so much storage that I don't have room to keep that app. Or 10 others that I really would benefit from. The Android O.S. storage bloat is a nightmare.
