Awesome leo!!! I totally know the feeling of being fully submerged in the fishing adventure, where it's just you your wits and nature. one of the best feelings in the world.
People need to chill with the thumbs down action, Leo is kind and patient enough to share his extensive fishing knowledge with all of us youtube viewers from around the country, I really enjoy these videos. Before you do a thumbs down think about how much you personally have shared with everyone. Ask yourself a question before you do a thumbsdown "Am I just a hater or a participator"
Leo, i know it would be hard to take care of but maybe you could put some trout in the tank. Personally i really admire the beauty of trout and i think it would be amazing to see them in a tank.
You can get trout as pets. You can buy them from hatcherys or take them from bodys of water as long as you have a fishing license and trout stamp. You just need a decent size tank, a temp regulator to keep the water cold and you get a current fan, itll make a current for the trout.
Always have a lot more fun exploring streams and creeks when fishing. Great opportunity for multi species over the years. One stream draining out of a large lake, yielded me a 3lb large mouth bass. In my hometown the stream that runs out of the town lake while not the cleanest is full of creek chubs, black nose dace, carp in the deeper pools and hold over trout which spill out of the main lake. Near place I lived, caught fall fish, several types of sunfish , a small large mouth bass, and a Grass Pickeral in one outing, all artificial lures.
That road you saw was an old trolley line that eventually was turned into a road. The trolley ran between West Chester and Downingtown. If you had walked far enough down it you would have came across a few houses that are still occupied. In fact, back when I was in school, our bus dropped off a few kids there everyday. I don't know what the building was but I would assume it may have been there to support the trolley system in some way.
I would say water treatment, which is probably what that other place bubbling the water into the creek was too. You probably found the old abandoned one, they typically build the new ones real close to the old ones.
In my younger days when I fished on that creek in northbrook they could tell what color dye they were using and polluting the creek. Much better for you.
In the first 10 seconds of the video I the bottom left it said paid promotion and when I clicked the screen it went up with the time thing, dang youtube. LOVED the video Leo
That place could've been an old fish hatchery, there's one near me that releases rainbow trout into creeks and they have little segments with water in them like you found
I feel used about just getting out and getting into nature Leo. it's amazing though being out in the woods like that, and coming across all the garbage, plus that graffiti filled abandoned place. of course when I think of Philly, woods and nature doesn't really come to mind. nice vid.
Lol, Leo. That sketchy place back there really reminds me of one of my favorite spots out here in Utah . Definitely a place where you could find a dead body if one desired. You should have friend throwing a lure down into one of those little pond lol. Might of caught something 😂
Oddly I've never caught a trout while using a trout magnet, but I've caught almost every other freshwater species around me. I've caught white and yellow perch, smallmouth and largemouth bass, black and white crappie, bluegill, pumpkin seed, green sunfish, redbreast sunfish, and even a small pickerel.
hey Leo big fan here but maybe next time take the garbage that you find in the river like that phone you found you tossed it back in the creek just a thought thanks again for the awesome vids
I appreciate the comment, Mark Withers! Glad to hear that you care about the environment as much as I do. Although it is portrayed in this video that I put the phone back, I actually took it with me. The same goes for the CD and everything else that I found in the Creek that day (i.e. pieces of plate, bb gun cartridge, etc). I plan on making a "wading creek treasure hunt" video in the future, so I took those items for an Instagram thumbnail. ;) Tight lines and thanks for watching!
The concrete tank with water might be a waste water treatment tank. Looks like the one at my work if there is industrial buildings and equipment there.
Dude screw that I would not have gone in that room lol I always get creeped out here in SC when I'm exploring by water mostly because I'm scared of gators near the water
it looks like a water treatment plant. especially that one place that had the water coming into the creek might also be some type of water treatment plant.
There is a stream by my house with Large Mouth, Small Mouth, Shiners, Creek Chubs, Golby's, and fall fish. I caught one speckled trout down there using the mepps black fury, everything else was caught on night crawlers. The mepps black fury hasn't been working down there lately, any ideas for what bait I should use instead?
it was part of a old paper plant I wish I would of knew you were trout fishing in Downingtown I live 200 yards away from where you were if I knew I could have put you on some trout I know the Brandywine like the back of my hand I've been fishing it my whole life
Dang that's a really good box maybe I can catch some bass or saltwater fish with the z spoon and floating joe and that's a really pretty river to fish in At the end that place looked really sketch
Connor Dillon pennypack at rhawn... no lie i catch trout but dont keep dem. so u will catch sum.... there is always 2 big trouts and like 5-6 lil ones...
Strange lures in the MTB , even stranger site up stream . Wow. Cool creek , but no trout . Still you tried yer best. Sometimes even the best plans just don't pan out. Just the way it goes . Better fishing next outing. Tom Daytona Beach, FL. 31, July 2020 .
Leo, if can make it next year down to Brookhaven Delaware County, my gun club stocks the Chester creek by a swim club, Everyone down there, including me have pulled in some pigs and help the PFBC stock the creek too, the first day is for gun club members. but the next day is for everyone. Ill keep you updated when the stocking day will come.
That thing you found pumping out water was a water recycling system for a sewage treatment plant
Awesome leo!!! I totally know the feeling of being fully submerged in the fishing adventure, where it's just you your wits and nature. one of the best feelings in the world.
Another awesome video Leo. I love exploring places like that. I feel like fishing and exploring go hand in hand.

Good thing no clowns showed up 😂😂😬
Leo, i know it would be hard to take care of but maybe you could put some trout in the tank. Personally i really admire the beauty of trout and i think it would be amazing to see them in a tank.
LiftedSquare13 trout get wayyyy too stressed out to be kept in a small tank
LiftedSquare13 it wouldn't be beautiful in a tank. would lose all colors

The graffiti in 21:27 sums it up well.

You didnt see that guy with the hockey mask standing in the corner of that room? Made you look. lol
At least you tried Leo. Thanks for sharing. I've never heard of a fall fish.
Where those fresh tire tracks near the broken down house/building? I would've been out of there as soon as I saw those.
Fallfish box... huh... those little buggers are aggressive this time! Wow :D
I would say water treatment, which is probably what that other place bubbling the water into the creek was too. You probably found the old abandoned one, they typically build the new ones real close to the old ones.
I think that is an old trout hatchery it's similar like the one by my house that's why there is water
I had a catfish rig with 10 hooks and i never got in trouble because I don't think they ever check for that
In my younger days when I fished on that creek in northbrook they could tell what color dye they were using and polluting the creek. Much better for you.
Ad libitum (ad lib) is Latin for "at one's pleasure". Thanks for sharing your knowledge and adventures with us.
That abandoned place you found would be an awesome spot for a party, especially a halloween one
i get pumped when you post a new video!! keep up the awesome content
In the first 10 seconds of the video I the bottom left it said paid promotion and when I clicked the screen it went up with the time thing, dang youtube. LOVED the video Leo

My typing grammar is on point

You were on Trolley rd. southeast of where you were...maybe 1000 yds is rt 322. My guess is that place used to be a hatchery.

Leo u should try the LTB trout box and see which u like better 👍 and awesome video lol
Maybe it was an old fish farm. The pits might have been used to store fish. Unless that's rain water.
The hole in that room is where they throw the sacrificed people.
That place gave me the creeps and I wasn't even there. What was that orange thing on the bottom of the ladder
looks like you found an old water treatment plant.
I'm guessing it was a mill of some sort due to its proximity to the creek.
