@@Diwaneo Well I find your comment insulting to people's intelligence. It's obvious there's sound problems and you are trying to say their voice are low.

What a shame this song deserved so much better.
This is one of the few uptempo Portuguese entries in the Eurovision Song Contest. I must say this song is very catchy and has an incredible feeling of joy. Unfortunately, faulty microphones and overall technical mishaps resulted in a disastrous performance. Therefore, Portugal failed to qualify for the final. The rules say that in case of a technical fault, the singers are allowed to perform again, but for some reason, the song was not repeated. I guess the rules are not for everyone, just for special countries. Despite the poor result in Kiev, the song was a hit in Australia.
With no sound problems and two semis this had a chance of making it. All the diaspora 12 points sent at this were crazy, though they're understandable since Turkey wasn't in the semifinal. Not to mention they potentially lost 2 more high scores (including a VERY likely 12 from Andorra) when Andorra and Monaco's televotes were cancelled by EBU rules and replaced with juries.
Que aconteceu aqui ? A música é linda as vozes dos cantores são espetaculares ,mal se ouve as vozes aconteceu um desastre em palco ,e a RTP calou,-se como sempre .
Still one of my favourite songs from 2005 and one of my favourite Portuguese entries. I think they should have been allowed to perform again because of their mics cutting out.
@@aleksanderpagels288 SuRie did the right thing in not performing again. She could really harvest sympathy points from televoters. As for this and Turkey in the final (Moldovan back track is played in the background half way through the Turkish entry), if they turned down a second performance then they are idiots
@@dramaticScar since when does Germany have such a big Portuguese diaspora? Ofc we couldn't vote for Turkey, Greece or Russia in this semi, but why not 12 to Poland or Romania? They have even bigger diaspora here.
Well... I dont know what went wrong here, but the result was not very good. Who sings actually in this entry when the chorus begins? The dancers hardly.... Something fishy here...
This was one of the most modern, catchy and up-beat Portuguese entries. Beside the mic problem, they were out of breath too. They couldn't sing at all. A great song ruined by mediocre performers.
Thats not true...RTP made a internal selection and both Luciana Abreu and Rui Drumond are great singer ( you can watch here on youtube)...this song was totally killed on stage by a terrible performance whose responsibility was anunacceptable sound conditions...

Houston, we have a problem! Portugal's mics don't work!
Yes!🤐😄
2018 and still waiting for their second chance to perform.
Same, still this year 2021
Keep waiting
uh...their mics? i feel really bad for them tbh.
You can actually see the backup dancers singing and no sound coming out. Just awful organisation from the hosta
this would've been a good song had the mics actually worked... i love the production and how happy the song sounds!

claudiosilvachannel did the Portuguese delegation ask to perform again?
@@cgfischer No they didn´t but for the very first time the portuguese delegation talked about sabotage..
How do you know it was hit in Australia?
No no no... the song would fail to qualify in any case... 2005 was a very competitve year and this song was not up to par in any sort of way
This actually sounds like a fun song but the mic problem made it sound like a trainwreck
I really love this! I almost like every portugese entry, but this is so fun and happy
Why didnt they just let them perform again
thats the big question! RTP should had insisted to perform again....what a pitty.
With the great production and technology, also the ability of using pre-recorded voices, this song would have been great nowadays.
There is a problem in their MICROPHONES. there's nothing wrong with the song.
I'm now even more happy that Portugal won the second time the contest was held in the Ukraine, in 2017.
Happy ever after
I think its a fun song but ther mics working bad and thats what maked it bad
their problem wasn't the mics, it was dancing too much and singing at the same time! não tinham fôlego
the Hero of Time actually it was sound problems, not their fault
David Neves also that

they are good singers, the problem was their mics :(
Considered this horrendous back in 05, it is actually a quite nice song lol.
This song only got points from 5 countries in the semi - and four of those votes were three 12s and a 10!

It’s all a shame because Luciana Abreu actually has one of the best voices in Portugal!
