F4U-Corsair - Stearman&Friends 2024

Die Chance-Vought F4U-5NL Corsair “Devotion” war ein äußert interessanter Gast des Stearman&Friends 2024! Dieser Warbird aus dem Jahre 1950 flog an beiden Tagen des Stearman&Friends Fliegertreffen auf dem Flugplatz Bienenfarm und hat Fliegerherzen höher schlagen lassen. Die schwarze Corsair ist die letzte noch vorhandene Corsair die im Koreakrieg im Einsatz flog.
Am zweiten Tag flog sie sogar mit der P-51D Mustang ein kurzes stück und bot ein imposantes Duett am Himmel.
Dank der ausgezeichnenten Organisation durch QUAX - Verein zur Förderung von historischem Fluggerät e.V. konnte man auch diese fliegende Legende bei schönem Wetter neben vielen vielen anderen historischen Fluggeräten erleben!

The Chance-Vought F4U-5NL Corsair "Devotion" was an extremely interesting guest at the Stearman&Friends 2024! This warbird from 1950 flew on both days of the Stearman&Friends Fliegertreffen at the Bienenfarm airfield and made pilots' hearts beat faster. The black Corsair is the last remaining Corsair that flew in the Korean War.
On the second day, it even flew a short piece with the P-51D Mustang and offered an impressive duet in the sky.
Thanks to the excellent organization by QUAX - Verein zur Förderung von historischem Fluggerät e.V., this flying legend could also be experienced in beautiful weather alongside many other historic aircraft!
