This is another collaboration between Ian and Guinga where Guinga was instantly inspired to write lyrics after hearing the melody for the first time. The song is in honor of a Brazilian community leader in the Bay Area, Conceição Damasceno, who recently passed away from lupus. It calls up fantastical imagery of eyes weeping like candlewax and a guitarist hallucinating in his grief.
