Recently I place the rp500m2 as front heights, insane, Atmos do came to life. For the rear heights im planning to place the rp500sa ii due to having my seat position to close to back wall and kind of low ceiling.
i got a pair of 600mII's about a month ago. still not broke in but paired with my SVS PB-2000Pro, sounds amazing. I do prefer the tuning with the grilles on.
Imo the RP series needs EQ - boost 100hz-1000hz range to add body to the sound, otherwise it sounds too thin, too bright. At least that's what I've noticed when measuring them in my room. RP 6000 II owner here :)
