I had to share this with my friend. He restored an international Harvester to mint condition. I use to work on fork lifts, John Deer, Clark and Pettibone. I did do one tractor, a champ tractor. I use to go to the tractor pull every year and watched the events televised on Speed TV and ESPN.
Leave it to you to video an awesome event like this!
Thanks again for all the hard work you do.

Congrats to your friend; restoring a tractor always requires much time and passion. I must tell you that I have followed tractor-pulling competitions in my country for many years, but I rarely went to tractor rallies. Then, a dear friend made me rediscover this world, and he began to fascinate me, so sometimes, during the year, I go to see these gatherings and the ploughing in the fields carried out with vintage tractors. I find this agricultural world very beautiful because it comprises enthusiasts and ordinary people who come together to eat all together, like a proper village celebration 👍

@@Italiansupercarvideo I worked on farms when I was young. In fact, I could drive when I was 11. I can remember learning to drive a stick shift. We were putting up hay. There were three of us, and the two older guys said, “ it's your turn! “ “My turn to what? “ “ Your turn to drive. “ “ I don't know how! “ I got the old put it in gear by pressing on the third peddle, shift, then let it rip instructions. You grind the gears the first try then you figure it out and away you go. The big treat was getting to lounge on the hay and sleep on the way back to the barn.
My dad use to drive at 120MPH all the time - sometimes even faster. That's why I love speed. He was worried because I loved the sound of wheels losing traction going to fast in turns. I never lost that joy. I use to take 30MPH turns at 90MPH and learned how to feel the apex to know when to “ tromp it” and sling shot out of the turn. This kind of car control frightens everyone. Later, I learned to break with my left foot and accelerate to help turn the car and go even faster. All because of dad and driving all kinds of farm equipment. There wasn't anything made I couldn't operate or drive.
Farming communities are just like racers; it's all about family and community. You always help the other guy then share in the spoils.
If I was small enough to drive a race car I probably wouldn't be here. I've never had a fear of going fast. As we know, that killed a lot of drivers. You can only push your luck so far. God has looked after me all my life. I should have been dead many times. I’ve been drown, shot, hit by lightning, fallen off two story roofs twice. I’ve gone through a windshield head first - my friend was driving and we got hit head on. I ‘ve been kidnapped, escaped a burning building, rear ended six times at stop lights and so far battled stage four Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Each time God saved me. I'm a huge guy. The caption is a picture of me posing in a bodybuilding show. I won three Titles and never used any drugs/peds to do it. I think God allowed me to be a physical freak to save me from being a race car driver-just my theory. I still raced cars I could fit in though. I made it from Las Vegas to Escondido in 2hrs and 12 minutes; It's about 600 miles. God truly is wonderful.
Bless you for once again providing another great video. I pray you will be able to share these amazing videos with us for many years to come.

@@kimwarfield1587 I read what you wrote with great attention and interest. I was impressed by your RUclips profile picture. I didn't think it was you, but everything is clear now that you have explained each case. You've had an incredible life, always on the edge. You must have genuinely an astonishing physique to have withstood everything that has happened to you, and God has undoubtedly watched over you many times. This means that your time on earth is not over yet, and I wish you many more years of health and serenity. Italy is an agricultural country, and what you wrote reminds me of when I was child and the years I spent with my grandfather, a farmer.

@@Italiansupercarvideo if only all kids could work on farms - think what the world would be like. Nothing teaches values and morals like farm work. Not an easy life, but then who said life was going to be easy😎

@@kimwarfield1587 You're right, and that's why I'm proud to live in a small country town and that my grandparents were farmers. I have fond memories of childhood and the countryside; the people are friendly and helpful. You can breathe good air and have respect for nature. Of course, life is never easy, but yours was undoubtedly more complex than many others 😅
