After episode 3, I really like this potential romance of La'An and Kirk. I like their chemistry.
1:00 Her expression is so well acted; she's wishing to just throw herself and kiss the guy, but she's fighting it and only lets those little smirks be seen.
Kirk is not helping by failing to maintain a professional distance. He keeps leaning over and maintaining eye contact.

I say this about her every week.
The fact that this uncomfortable will they/won't they is with a descendant of Khan is so well done.
i really hope we get more scenes with them in season 3 (or alternative Jim survived and they meet again and stay in the past together)

@@kathleenhensley5951 Well let's go on a long delve then. Spock cannot ever be nimoy. chapel cannot ever be majel barrett who passed in 2008. We lost James Doohan, so Scotty's not going to have the original actor. We do have Koenig and Takei. but I don't see them trying to be their younger characters in this show. that's a lot of computer generated editing over their faces.
Nothing against Paul Wesley, but he's not suitable for this role.
I think he's been great.
I feel like the only way someone can truly nail the role is if they're basically a carbon copy of 1960's William Shatner, which is just not realistic. I'd say he definitely fits the spirit of the role perfectly. His voice isn't quite right but I've gotten over that.
