Her voice is smoother than Nicole's and has ease in gliding through the notes. Classic theater voice.
However, Nicole introduced something different. Her voice sounds unstable at times and the placement is a little messy. But she conveys the emotions in ways that connect to me better. She explodes. The vulnerability in her voice creates opportunities to emphasize extreme emotions and, sometimes, overacting--which I like. HAHA

I have heard Nicole over 10 times how and her voice is strong and trained and has so much color and shading. And she nails the notes every time. Norma was a silent film actress...they ALL overacted then and mugged.
