There is a structural ressources problem in the game. They tried to hide it with the daily gifts in the last month but the balance between cost and reward is broken

I honestly have no problem with CG wanting this raid to scale long into the future so they dont have dead raids like swgoh did. But completely agree the rewards need to be better. CGs idea of what things like ability materials are worth is insane. Keep the guild rewards in bigger gaps for all i care...just make their rewards feel meaningful. Reaching that 72mil should feel amazing and a big accomplishment. But right now other than the gandalf shards its just insulting. I really want this game to be good but CG needs to do better at communication and restructure their rewards. They say they have all this expereince behind them from swgoh which ive played for 8 years. But in this game im not seeing any of that.
They scale like this to cut development time down. They don't need to release a new raid until years later the way Gandalf is hard locked behind this raid
@@wukongsun6223 The problem in this scale is that we can't see a way to have enough power to reach the goals. Boilon has a very good roster but he can't doesn't score more than 700k. Imagine a full guild of people scoring eleven times better than him.

Hey Boilon, it’s MrUnderhill from the guild. You are 100% correct in your assessment. I am serious SWGOH player and this reward track is broken. A guild like ours should be pushing for the 216mil box. The boxes are not cumulative so at 216mil you are getting 1,2,3&4 which adds up to 1.2mil in gold, 400 gold raid tokens and 25 Gandolf shards every week. Once all 4 phases are open each guild member would need to do 1.5 mil per phase. Seems doable. Thanks again for these videos. HoME definitely needs this info if we want it to survive
We did 72M this week but yeah rewards seems way too low for the effort needed right now. I spent for 5* Elves earlier (yeah i still had faith in this game) but they're not gonna get 1 single penny anymore.
They're so greedy to the point that i start thinking they know the game's already dead and they just try to milk as much as they can with already built contents they still have available.
Happy you guys got 72M whereas I'm like half that lol. But, it feels for the amount of effort to do this that its just really mismatched :(
Absolutely agree I complained about this at the beginning of raids but I don't think people looked closely at it
Level cap and gear cap will result in higher scores across the board. Give it time… to get that first personal Gandalf shard, just need to get 900k with 3 teams… not impossible, just not realistic for most YET
The pulled this same BS with the raids on swgoh, and had to shift course because people didn't do the new raid because no one except the top guilds could get to the point where they got the same rewards as doing the "legacy" raids. Their philosophy is to screw over the player as much as possible and change course only when there's a big enough revolt.
Yeah in SWGoH from time to time all the players get there pitchforks out and march on CG HQ, amazing how quickly they change things then lol

Enjoyed this video! All great points. I do think we’ll get some super op toons eventually that’ll help us score higher (like SWGOH has each new GL tied to their own raid now).
I’m actually relieved to hear how ridiculous the raids are. My modest guild is still working to get keys for the first raid. Sounds like the FOMO is minimal.
The first box is great, basically a participation award but the increases between the boxes are really small and not really worth it.
And yeah I think there should be a chest unlock that matches the chapter clear requirements
If you hit high enough personally you start getting Gandalf shards too...but yes they don't hand out enough
They essentially built this raid with such a long term outlook on the game so that they wouldn't have to come up with new content for YEARS while they wait for players to slowly crawl their way up, so much so that they neglected the fact that new games need a reason for players to get hooked. The RNG dependence of the raid is already a huge turn off for me (just to force player engagement?) and the hubris believing that players will be in this game a year and a half from now to get Gandalf.
chest 2 should unlock around 9 mil, chest 3 around 18 mil, chest 4 around 35 mil, chest 5 at 60 mil, chest 6 at 100 mil, chest 7 at 160 mil, and then to keep a carrot on the stick for whale guilds, make chest 8 require around 750 mil to reach. Then tweak/improve the drops from all chests and personal reward track. Especially for things like gold and xp, players need these for just the basics of leveling, equipping gear and improving star levels.
It really feels like CG is either taking the piss, or just isn't playing their own game. They don't seem to understand how significant the choke points are in this game.
Right after this the release a note on glpyhs. No clue how we will get them when most energy is going into shard farming or how much of a power boost they will be but maybe that's the missing power system?
Chef Krazha has a the only Boon steal in the game and its on his basic.
During Chapter Two, Momentum can be dispelled but not stolen. So his Boon steal targets the Troll's Counterstrike Boon. That troll without counterstrike becomes a much more manageable fight. I've had good results with Rohan Trio + Golburz and Chef. My guild has taken to calling it the Goblin Concoction. If you like it, credit my in-game name FoeHammer
That's really interesting. Honestly I had thought about the goblin team a little bit, would be great if they were for like a gold flash event too. Great Goblin isn't farmable though :(
@@boilongaming Golburz blèed DoTs and Chef keeping his Counterattack buff off, lets the Rohan Trio go to work. I 300k T2 with both goblins at lvl 45, Golburz 4☆, Chef 3☆ both gear 6. Seemed easy, but i also have a highly invested Eomer carrying the dmg burden
Definitely need to be reconsidered. 100% agree. At some point in the next 6 months we'll get some sort of new stat progression, probably the glyphs, and they'll make a massive difference thag just seems ridiculous I recon🤷🏻♂️
I did this video before the recent news from Friday about glyphs. But, I don't know if this is in the near future, seems like maybe at least 4+ months out.

2nd crate requires around 500k per player across 4 chapters. So 3rd crate is 1mil per player. Pretty easy to obtain.

Was a spender until this recent marquee. Was 5 staring all the new chars, but it has become obvious that this dev team is either clueless or just shit at rolling out their vision for the game. Will not be spending in the foreseeable future.

Road ahead released today announced glyphs. My bet is this is the way we reach the higher raid numbers
This video was recorded before the road ahead news. That being said, I really wouldn't expect this within the next 4-months.
We finished mid 80million as a top 5ish guild just to give you an idea of scores at the top.
Each guild member needs to hit about 2 mil between both chapters for the second guild box. My guild barely hit it but I'm at 10 gandalf shards with the first 5 free ones included
I personally don't think this video is going to age well. This looks a lot like a power curve that they are controlling to stop the gap from whales to free to play players from getting to big to early.
This is the build up a couple teams phase of the game and not the gear up 3*-4* characters phase I think. Clearly the power levels are going to climb exponentially...
Atm its obviously utterly stupid! However, I believe they have said they have a plan and also other game modes besides raids are coming and those game modes will have additional rewards, which will allow you to build your roster quicker. This will feed through to higher raid scores. They just do not share there plan with us, because they suck hard at communication.
What they mean is more gated content. Anytime they have these plans it's usually for whales to have better access to certain rewards or advantages
Now i have no doubt they will add more content and make things more accessible but that's all reliant on how fast they farm the whales first throughout this period of the game

My guild ended at little more then 40M. With the 3rd chapters coming in couple of weeks, it will be easier

@@boilongaming Oh I understand the video was before the announcement. I'm just think that they knew these bonuses were coming and so they want us to have stuff to keep working towards rather than mastering it easily and not having any goals
Can somebody tell me WHY im locked into 1 single raid squad and its my worst squad?
Also the Gandalf shards are too low but you’ll get him faster than what you’re saying because if you’re scoring that high as a gold you’re probably getting some shards in the personal track
Too much RNG in ch1 to try and max out… takes way too much time to try.
Just feels like the game is deliberately being stalled while they create content to prevent there being a huge gap in the playerbase.
This is insane. Even for the kraken teams. My guild only got 16 mil in this raid. It will mean we will never get gandalf.
It's a combo of gandalf shards but the chest rewards for later chests, and the lack of mithril coins, a lot of it is kind of insane.
I didn't get my guild rewards on ios on android I get them what can I do?
clearly my guild is missing something about this raid because the guild I'm in fails the raid every time. The guild I'm in haven't even gotten the first chest.

You have to be trolling. There is legitimately no way possible that a guild could have enough people to open the raid and then not get a million points unless no one even participated in the raid. Join another guild but all means but if your guild only has 20 people in it and took a while to open the raid and then the average guild member (including you) couldn't score 50,000 total points........and you said "every time" meaning you've opened the raid multiple times so must have a decently sized guild.

I feel this game has killed itself with the in game economy, lack of anything to do in the game and laggy game (also crashes an my iphone 13 constantly). All this made me quit last week. Couldn't even get excited about this game from all of those issues.
shit is crazy, each person would have to have at least semi maxed out rosters. and even then would that be enough to get 7.5 mil per chp.
what i really dislike is there is no way to give any feed back to the DEv's

The team working on this game have no idea what they're doing. They can make all the promises and announcements they want, but judging by their actions since launch I don't think anyone expects things to improve.

I normally enjoy your content, but I think you need to find another game as you seem to want everything yesterday, it’s a grind for sure but look back on this video in 6 months ( if you’re still playing) and laugh

@@lillypadgaming6191I don’t think so. Our guild is still doing the exact same in Krayt as when it launched. When we were doing LS Geo, 4 years after it launched, we were better but nowhere near even half stars. So, no. I don’t think in 6 months people will be crushing this raid.

Yep. Agree on both points that 1) the rewards from guild chest and personal track are lackluster (specifically shards and raid coins) and 2) the points for guild chest progression seem extremely unrealistic. When they launched Krayt in Swgoh, it was similar and they acknowledged and adjusted the rewards. Maybe they will do the same for Moria. We also don’t know the point scales in Ch3 and Ch4 yet. Maybe current teams will be able to score much higher in those chapters. But we don’t know because they aren’t communicating anything.
This game is so boring right now. The only reason I still have it is i can do all the content in 5 minutes each day. Do the devs even interact with the player base? They have to know this game might die
You didn't even go over the tier 5 rewards and boy are they still terrible. 150 more guild coins, and a whopping 50,000 xp (is that even enough to go from 59 to 60?). Double the progress, nothing in return.
I think for the scaling of the guild reward chests and how insane it is per chest gap the rewards do NOT match imo.
