  • What is cultural contribution?
Cultural contribution is the impact that a leader, whether a candidate or existing employee, will have on your organization’s culture and working environment. This is not about measuring perceived culture ‘fit,’ but about assessing what the person will help build and the legacy they will leave.
Why is assessing talent for cultural contribution important?
Hiring and developing your leaders based on potential culture contribution is important when you are attempting to enhance or evolve your culture. The recruitment process is one of the key levers you can pull to build the culture you want. However, in our experience, organizations often struggle with finding the tools and support they need to measure culture effectively. At Walking the Talk, we have the answer.
Our new proprietary tool, the Taylor Assessment, is born from the experience, research, and data we have collected over 30 years, spanning all types of organizational cultures. During this time, we have encountered and worked with the full range of behaviors, values, and mindsets that you're likely to find in individuals, and mapped these into six cultural ‘archetypes.’
    What will I learn?
    1. Live demonstration of our proprietary tool, the Taylor Assessment.
    2. A personalized report that details the cultural contribution you make and the environment in which you are most likely to thrive.
    3. A group debrief so you can share these insights with others in your organization, and discover how it can be used for recruitment, leadership development, and teambuilding.
    4. The business advantages in evaluating cultural contribution.
    5. How you can start assessing for cultural contribution.
