I checked the original leaked images. The Dalek never had the raised section, it's just a shadow/lighting thing. Also if you look at the prices per figure in a box set for all the relases excluding B&M, they have all remained roughly the same with small differences. Once you consider as you said, the dalek is more expensive to produce, furthermore that the movellans do have two new heads, plus accessories, plus new torso pieces and boots, plus inflation, the set is no where near overpriced.
Even then tho, the figure *should have* the raised neck section, bc the prop it's based on has one, also can I point out how money was wasted on a less accurate slat sculpt, as the bombs are in the wrong position on this retooled slat sculpt, meanwhile the OG 2008 sculpt got the position of the bombs perfect. So this set is a rip off considering the wasted money on *unnecessary, inaccurate retooling* for a part that only ever had its original mold used *once*
@PedroS2001 Most people would be content with one set, complaints about pricing, and then ordering multiple sets makes you look like a hypocritical nit picker looking for things to moan about.
@ianmalcolm7782 ok so clearly you have no idea what army building is, which is the main reason many people wanted to buy multiple of this set. That dalek was in insanely high demand for a re release before this set for over a decade & if you actually paid attention to the video, he said "at least its cheaper than the prices the original release goes for on ebay" which is true, because that original release on its own goes for way more than this set, and this is a set many people bought multiple of, because whenever army buildable figures like daleks are included, guess what? People like to army build them! And 6sek isn't the only one who's tried to do it but also voiced their opinions about the price online, as I've seen a lot of other people complain about how overpriced this is, especially considering that most people were expecting that dalek to be re released in B&M back in 2022 & even last year as well.
@PedroS2001 @PedroS2001 I know what army building is, I'm just a single pack purchase guy myself. . Slating the price and then purchasing multiple packs negates any argument you have about how much of a travesty you perceive the price to be, and you perpetuate this apparent highway robbery because you "want" to army build. Want being the operative word here, you don't need to army build to enjoy these dollies. This is a hobby, the price is what the price is, don't like it, don't buy it.
@ianmalcolm7782 "don't like it don't buy it" huh? Wow what a stuck up mentality that is, so does that mean that people who missed out on the OG release & refused to buy it 2nd hand *because of expensive prices* should have just "not bought" this one because its a bit overpriced? Two of the figures in this set are identical bar the head & they reuse like 83% of the Clara figure's body & then the dalek is literally 98% reused parts. More people would have bought this set to army build the dalek than to get the Movellans, as that's been in high demand for a re release for years, however there wasn't really that much of a demand for Movellans to get made into figures before this set came out. Clearly tho you can't understand how expensive the OG release is on ebay & how that made tons of people not buy that dalek before this set, because it was damn near impossible to army build it, which is the entire appeal of the Suicide dalek, as you never really see 1 on its own in the episode. Also like 6sek said in a recent video responding to Jamie Bate, you can like something but also think it's overpriced like for example I really like games consoles but I think they're overpriced for what they are. Does that mean I don't like them? No it doesn't as I still bought them & use them quite often. Go look at 0Doctor0Who0's recent videos as well, also look at the price of the OG releases on ebay, then tell me "1 set is enough"
Terrible review, far too long, overly negative, points that, factually, aren’t true. Complaining about the price when it works out at less than £15 per figure. And every other video / post has praised how good this set is. It just comes across that you’re bitter and don’t like their creative director.
When it comes to Al people have issue cause he does what he wants set wise, ngl though he's done well so far and he knows what fans want when it comes to creating these sets and then making sure it's done to a budget. Also doing the skin colour in plastic instead is something hasbro have been doing for years, it does look better and the future releases of the doctors will look so much better when it comes to this process. You can definitely tell seks out to be a dick to Al and I understand why Al dislikes him cause he's critical of stupid crap when these people work hard to bring us these sets.
@@cybrmaTS Sek is definitely out to just attack AD directly. The points he raises in the video are all twisted to fit his narrative. @cybrmaTS "stupid crap" so u mean it's acceptable for the dalek to have errors that were avoidable by just *using existing parts* LMFAO. 6sek ain't "out to be a dick" to Al Dewar he's out to give a *honest review, which often means u do not suck Al Dewars dick* like a ton of other pathetic shitty reviewers who are obviously begging for free review samples do. I like how you complain about the price but your forgetting about inflation making prices go up, if they had done what you have said the set would cost more to make which would increase the sale price, and the raised neck was NOT on the destiny daleks from the b&m set so they are keeping it in line with them, honestly you need to do more research and investigation before you start complaining, if your like this no wonder al doesn’t like you
Same thing happened with him moaning about the creator of the daleks set with the removable dalek gun and plunger arm, the gimick with that set was brilliant and welcomed by literally everyone but 6sek. And you're right in this day and age £40 is totally fine, it's funny to see people want 3 figures but what to pay like nothing for it, packaging comes into consideration too and this set is a one off and imo classed as a collectors set, £40 is a decent price when star wars black series and marvel legends are like £25 each
Yes I agree this dude is so hard to please continuous moaning, everyone’s entitled to opinion but every time whining! Tbh so glad we are still getting these classics no matter how accurate,if they shelved them altogether this guy would have something to moan about then. Give them a break man!

Well if he wants to army build the dalek then what the fuck else is he supposed to do? Price haggle with a massive corporate company?

Man you're tedious. "So..yeah" every two seconds.
I would love to see a david gooderson davros and a destiny squad leader dalek
Everyone has got the story complete the doctor Romana 2 dalek army and davros plus the movellens
It’s a good job you don’t collect Star Wars black series where it’s £30-£40 for a single figure, never mind paying £39.99 for 3 😅
The difference is at least Black Series figures are *new* & not jus either re-releases or figures that use like 85% of a figure that already exists
