Idk why it never occurred to me that they would do screen testing to see how well the group would fit together. I just always assumed they picked whoever and you got lumped in together whether you wanted to or not. This makes so much more sense though since all the Holo waves seem to mesh so well together.
yep, that has always been how holo works. there's a period where they're supposed to get to know each other, play games, introduce themselves to their senpai (of the same branch) and stuff.
Thats why advent is super close when they debuted because they hsd months worth of interactions prior to debuting. Not like nijiscumji where 1 of the members gets left out from a group chat of her own gen.

I remember HQ mentioning playing games long before their debut, and I think at that time Vanguard was also already formed. So yeah they probs already got some groups undergoing preparations months ahead of their debut.
That’s what I love about Cover because they let their talents develop genuine connection and camaraderie before the announcements and finalizations come out. It ain’t just debuting, it’s the months before debut where they bonded.
I'm so glad that yagoo/holostars brought these boys together, 'cuz watching armis is like my daily medicine, I'm so happy that these boys are in a same group, I can't imagine armis without these guys, for me THEY ARE ARMIS ITSELF.... HAPPY 6 MONTHS ANNIVERSARY ARMIS....
I get how that can make 'em self-conscious, but the idea of these four's chemistry together being tested like that is fascinating to me. And now that I think about it some more, I think I learned about similar stories from Myth, but more about model testing shenanigans, though in Myth's defense, I might be missing some more stuff because I learned about those only via clips so far. Anyway, I'm now curious about how the other holo waves felt about their respective group screen tests.
Having that talk while playing a video game about fishing is a genius move. This is exactly how my conversations with dad and grandpa went when we went fishing in the middle. of the lake. We borrowed one of the huts there (standing just above water) which belonged to my uncle's friend. I missed that day.
