I used to be a daily viewer, and after finishing the Mattman content I would move on to any other video that I could waste my time on. I was having a really hard time being productive. My solution to this problem of being addicted to youtube/social media is I keep a paper and pencil near my computer. Any time that I want to do something recreational or get something done using my computer. I write down on the paper what I want to do and how long I think it will take to do it. That makes my time more focused so that I naturally get more things done. Sometimes it doesn't always go as planned, but thats okay. Everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes don't lower your value. They were designed for the purpose of self growth. Learning from your mistakes is one of the best ways to grow. Now that I don't spend all my free time on my computer, I can go outside and go on walks and appreciate this beautiful planet that I was so lucky to be placed on
You mentioned "Games that influence others in the genre" and that's Slay the Spire for me. Not only did it influence every other card game, but the way that it handles the map can been seen in about 70% of all the roguelikes that I've played since it came out
Dearest Mathew I have found a way with the slightest bit of luck to rig every run just an insane amount. Start with Isaac for the d6 then find a magic skin and use it as many times as possible in a secret room. Reroll the secret room until you get a spin down. Now anytime magic skin pops up again you can spin it down into death certificate Try to pick up sharp plug and old bandage it helps with all the charge you need. Also if what a single run to last 30 hours you can pick up school bag and as many R keys as you want from death certificates just don’t loose the spin down

Hey Matt. I've been playing for 260 hours now. I feel kinda stuck. Latest thing I've done is finishing hard mode with tainted appolyon on Polaroid path. I guess what I'm asking is what should I focus on? I have greedier mode unlocked, I've beaten the beast about 7 times, I have ALMOST all of the marks for Isaac. Should I focus on the challenges? If so which ones? Stick to main run unlocks? Go back to greed mode to get 999 on the machine? So many questions so little patience on my part. Please, I need some direction.
Ground out a truly hideous run today where I didn’t get a single damage up till the chest and two total tears up on Tainted Lazarus Genuinely don’t want to play the game for a while after that one giving me more stress than a tainted lost run so I’m glad to just live vicariously through your goofy little videos
FYI because it looks like you turn all your mods off when you play on the Repentance+ Beta, some mods still work like EID, you just can't play online while they're enabled.

I believe most of the modding API has been fixed in the latest update, so hopefully most mods should work now (Well, except for ones that require Repentogon, that's still being worked on to my knowledge)
