Please reply! my linked Google Business Profile locations show '0 locations' in Google Ads campaigns despite being properly linked. Tried relinking and incognito mode, but no luck. Any suggestions?
I would double check that your Google Business Profile is the correct one. I've seen some clients that have created multiple accounts. Then sometimes it's easy to link the wrong one by mistake. The other thing that could be happening is that maybe you just created the business profile and it hasn't been approved yet. Also, look for things that might have caused your location to get disapproved. I had this before when a client PUT THEIR NAME IN ALL CAPS. This is a very quick way to get your business profile disapproved.
@@FocusYourAds Thank you for the suggestions! I did have two accounts earlier, but to avoid confusion, I removed the one not in use. Now, there’s only one location on my profile, and it’s properly linked to my ad account. My business is approved, and you can verify it-it's named Sadhna Sangeet College in Dwarka, India. When I had access to two listings, one of them was attached to a campaign and running successfully. However, after removing that listing, this issue started. Any further advice?
As painful as it would be. I would try reaching out to Google. They will be able to take a look for you. I did this because we were disapproved for excessive capitalization. We fixed the issue but it got stuck in disapproval for months. Had to contact Google about 6 times but eventually it got reviewed manually and approved.
Thanks for the video! What is your process for tracking calls from the location asset (calls that occur from map ad placements). Can you control what conversion action these show up under?
You can get automatic conversion actions for people getting directions however I am not aware of any custom tracking that you can do with this. Unfortunately the automatic ones will only count toward a true conversion if you are using PMax. But you can still see them in other campaigns under “all conversions” as they will count as a secondary conversion.
Hi, great tutorial, have you a way to add 2 locations, so 2 campaigns on the same ads account, but each campaign has its own location? Thanks in advanced
Sorry @mcattell. Didn’t see your question until @quang4956 commented. There is a way to do this and I have done it with some clients. To do this, you just need to link both locations at first. Then go back to the locations and create a location group for each. With location groups you can select the locations that you want to show.
@@FocusYourAds thanks for your respond! I did with this way, I have linked all locations then back to location group tab in google ads. But there have nothing to choose, maybe some bugs but I can't find it :(
If you can’t find it, I would try reaching out to Google support team. It’s not a quick process but they might be able to sort it out for you. It took me 6 tries with the support team to sort out a location disapproval. This took over several months. So hopefully it is faster for you.
Sorry for the slow reply. But you should have assets in your account. Every account should now have this. You have to find it by going to Campaigns -> assets. But if you can't find it, try using the search function at the top of Google Ads. It's possible that it could be in a slightly different location, as Google is always testing different account layouts. But it should be somewhere.
I live in Myanmar where monetization is not supported and I want to make an account for google ad,should I set to other country that support monetize or Myanmar will be my best choice?
Sorry for the slow reply. But I'm not sure how to help you with this. I would suggest that you would just need to add the account in your country. If you wanted to add it in another country, then you would need to create a legal business in that country. Not sure how the monetization would play into this, as Google Ads can be set for any location.
They used to have a local campaign but this got replaced by performance max. So unfortunately you can’t do this. But if you are using search ads, you can have a location asset in place that will allow people to click the location directly from the ad. This is something I use when I want to showcase a local business. It’s quite effective.
You might need to sign into your business profile manager to accept it. Take a look at this help document from Google. support.google.com/business/answer/7023394?hl=en
You should have assets but it might be in a different location. If you are using the old design for google ads then it might be under ads & assets -> assets instead of finding it directly. If you still can’t find it. Try searching “assets” in the search function at the top of your google ads page.
If the account is set as an individual it will not have location assets available. If it's set as an organization it will have that option. This also applies to the business name asset.

How can I run ads just for Google maps only? Dont like performance max and smart campaign as it shows ads on youtube, gmail etc also.
