Aight so boom, I'm a guy ( never relaxed my hair) and I find out the same as you. My hair in the back grow way faster than in the front, to this I would say that maybe our natural oil can reach this part (the back) so this is why it grow faster. Also the back of my head curl anyway while I've got to put more efforts in the front (could just be me but hey lol). Nice video keep it up 👌🏾

What you said about the natural oils is right. The front and the top of your head are the highest parts of your head so the oils produced there drip down to the side and back of your head. That's why you can get lots of built up gunk behind your ears cuz it's a mixture of those oils and dead skin cells if you dont clean it properly
I had relaxers for a long time as well, and I didn’t know that little fact. My hair grows in pretty similar to the way that you described. My strands very fine and I have medium density. The back grows in very fast, I have a patch in the middle that grows in slower and courser than the back, and from ear to ear my hair grows very slow. To encourage faster growth I’ve been doing scalp massages every night with a vibrating scalp massagers with sweet almond and peppermint oil and doing the inversion method, it’s really been helping encourage blood flow to those areas.

Alwayssss a win. I know a lot of people say that gel flakes but it never flakes for me. As long as I use honey curls first and do it on really wet hair. I’ve tried with other leave-ins and got flakes. This is my elite combo lol.

Taylor Patterson i don’t really have a set routine. I just wash it when I feel like it needs to be washed lol. I don’t wet it everyday either. Only if I need to but I always layer my products (mentioned in video) to prevent moisture loss

Try massaging Black Castor oil everytime you remember in that area really all over
